I have been to leroys a few times now. And the service is outstanding, as well as the staff and their food and cafe. I decided to celebrate my birthday here and people loved the venue, and commented on the food.
Highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner or functions. I am a harsh critique when it comes to this being in the music industry, and working 8 years off lygon street I know what's expected for good food and cafe.
If you gathered up all your childhood memories of tasting your favourite dish for the first time and then toasted them in delight and sprinkled them with complete satisfaction then it would taste somewhat like the meals at Leroys. We travel to StKilda every year from Wangaratta and have breakfast here. We love the menu and the staff are always awesome.
Located on the corner of Acland st and Barkly st in St Kilda, Leroy espresso is trendy modern cafe with high quality food. I turned up early to brunch with a couple of friends on a cold Saturday morning and unfortunately couldn’t get a table inside. I offered to wait as my friends hadn’t arrived anyway and the waitress said she had to go and check. Not sure what she was checking but she never came back as I waited outside in the cold (the outdoor heaters were unfortunately not on). One of my friends soon arrived and we asked another waitress for a table who seated us a two seater inside while we waited for a 3 seater to become available (only another 2 minutes). Much happier with this waitress who served us attentively for the rest of the time. This could have been 5 stars if not for the lack of communication at my arrival. Food was spot on and well presented. Coffee was smooth. Cute flowers on the tables.
Great tap water. Really refreshing. Hydrating. Effervescent. It cleared my eczema. Alleviated my depression. Mended my relationship with my father.
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!

This place has been going a while now and is consistently good in the ever trendy Acland Street. Good food choices here and the coffee was excellent. Somewhat of a funky place to come and watch the comings and goings of St Kilda.
Do try something on the breakfast menu.
Dietaries catered for, just let staff know. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Parking is okay.
Service was good and staff were friendly. Location is convenient as public transport is near and in a popular area. Ice coffee was good but the waffle was average as it was amazing but it was disappointing.
Not too shabby!
This place was almost at the other end of St. Kilda beach so it was a nice walk!
I went in hopes that I could get a smoothie bowl... but apparently they ran out and my second option was to get the baked eggs buuut they ran out of that too ._. Also, at first when I walked in there was a sign that said they weren’t serving coffee but luckily I came in time for the machine to be back up and running!
I ordered the ‘Waffle We Do Now’ and my friend ordered the ‘Bagel Delight’. She had tea and I had an Iced Skinny Latte. For a guilt free waffle, I have to admit that it’s pretty damn good! The ice cream was amazing as well! And the berry compote was made from stevia!! So it’s super guilt free for us (trying to) dieters! The Bagel Delight was great too and it was so good I ended up switching my dish! Didn’t realise I was in such a savoury mood 🙊
The coffee and tea was so-so. Nothing really to shout about.
The service was adequate too but the hygiene of the cups for the water was kinda gross bc we saw lipstick stains on it. Uhhh...
The food was good! The only down side was just the lack of a few dishes and them still putting it on the menu :/
I've been to Leroy Espresso a couple of times now. I first went with a Groupon but returned and paid full price because the food was delicious. Both times I had the fritters.
Their chai lattes and coffees are delicious and I love the fact that they are sweetened naturally.
Leroy Esprosso is fantastic at catering for food intolerances. Their menu sets out which foods contain gluten, dairy, are paleo etc. Awesome!
The staff are very friendly but my only complaint is that they are quite slow. Both times I got fed up with waiting and walked to the counter to order. Both of my visits were mid-week and the cafe was not very busy.
I had an iced long black and it was the one of best I tried in st kilda area :) nice vibe, awesome staff, and good location. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I just waited for like 20 mins 😅😂
New favourite vegan brunch destination 💕 The gluten-free, animal product-free waffles are bomb. They're nice and soft and not gummy like lots of other vegan waffles tend to be. But even better is that they're fruit compote topping is sweetened with Stevia! Never have I seen Stevia mentioned on a restaurant menu until Leroy. So impressed by this. Their vegan ice cream is free of added sugars as well, and sweetened with dates, but you'd never know it. Also tried the corn fritters, which feature a delicious Stevia-sweetened tomato relish. Coffee is really nice, although it took a long time to come out (arrived after food did although they were ordered together). Despite service being a bit slow, staff were really nice, retro vibe is super charming and menu is a huge pull. Already planning my next trip to SK to visit again.
I’ve not been here for ages but its as good as I remember. Friendly staff, colourful fit out and good honest food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Banana and coconut flour waffle with ice cream was delicious but I could have done with another waffle - one left me wanting more and hungry after only an hour. Companion had the omelette and was very satisfied.
Had lunch here... There were heaps of food options catering for all sorts of dietary requirements. Food was well presented and tasty. They had all day breakfast as well as the lunch menu. We didn't have to wait long to be served or get our food. Had a coffee as well, was good but not great. Worth checking out... I come here again...
Very nice coffee and a menu with a lot of variety. Busy because the centric location. Amazing smoothies and Fresh Juices. Im in love with the chicken and avo sandwich, generous meal.

Ordered the banana waffles with berry compote and vegan vanilla bean ice cream. Delicious and filling! Great variety of meals on the menu.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Quick service too. However the vibe of the cafe is more suitable for families and kids. If you’re after a more peaceful brunch, try elsewhere.
I recommend this cafe for vegans and vegetarians or families with young children. High chairs are available.
A very pleasant surprise. We were not expecting much and was just after a coffee and somewhere to hide from the sun. The coffee was magnificent and the food was perfect. A wonderful combination of eggs, bacon, avocado and cheese. A perfect start to the day.
Lovely cafe in St Kilda. Great brunch food, coffee, and nice servers. Nice outdoor seating for enjoying the sun and people watching. I highly recommend!
