Been coming to Cica for years, back when they were further up Carlisle St. Great range of dishes and you can clearly tell they use fresh produce. Very friendly, great service and never a long wait. Oh, and well priced!
If a Chinese takeaway is what you want then you can't go very wrong. My favourite fried rice in this area. Big portion of prawn crackers. Great seasoning on the chips. Yummy chicken ribs. Not too keen on the spring rolls but each to their own. Can't pay by card in the shop, cash only or pay on menulog online. Delivery can take a while, best to pick up. Will be ordering again soon

I was unemployed and money was tight and I didn't have a kitchen in my old apartment.. Great value for money..$7 rice n stir fry special or do what I use to,just get the stir fry at $12 and u can turn it into 3-4 meals if u have a ricecooker at home..
I recommend the chicken or beef curry..it's Asian curry not indian..

Or the beautiful Wonton soup..those r the only ones I ordered...
My only negative is selling a can of drink for $2.50 when 50m away this jew $2 shop selling coke for $1 and also selling those nasty but well loved aussie dimmies for $3.50 for 2..well overpriced..
Highly recommended, especially if money is tight..
As a bonus 5metres away is st kilda library offering free fast wifi..
We used to order from Cica all the time when we lived in the area and were always happy with their standard. Delivery was always prompt and the food was always very tasty without overloaded by MSG. We drove past the restaurant coincidentally the other day and decided to dine in. We weren't disappointed! Well-priced, healthy(ish) and yummy - highly recommend it if you live locally!
Ordered it for 9.30 pm at 8pm and it came on the dot, Food was terrific!, the Lemon chicken was still crispy and delicious, Singapore noodles were a tiny bit bland but nothing that could not be fixed with a shake or two of salt to make them perfect, Also had lots of veggies and generous with the pork strips.

Lovely and fresh. Ordered the prawn bread, mixed vegatables and mushrooms and spicy salt and pepper calamari. All was delicious. Ordered online and was told an hour for delivery which was what it took. Would definitely order again.

Good, Cheap Food. Cica serve big meals that are also quite healthy (depending on what you order). I got the Veggies w/ Chinese Mushrooms which was a huge plate of veg. and had lots of mushrooms in it - not just a few token pieces.
They are friendly have quick service. I will go there again.
Best Chinese takeaway in Melbourne! Chicken w cashews is fresh, clean, tasty and full of cashews. Black bean beef is tender, tasty and no sign of oil. Prawn toasts are crisp and tasty. Cafe is small, minimal and clean. Prices are great value.
