Little dinning at st Leonard's

My first impression of this place was okay, I find it weird that their Ramen has carrots. The Ramen was delicious, I've ordered their Pork Ramen. I found that the carrots add no value or flavour to the Ramen but it is still a delightful broth. The price is affordable and it's worth to go to dine.

Multiple visits after 1st but ordered samey. Happy to say they are consistent. And oh, no clueless cashiers subsequently.

The prawn panko curry and chicken katsu curry, both with rice, were delish n generously topped. The cashier i encountered must have been new as she was quite clueless. It was before the lunch rush. These guys offer the full array of jap food incl the obligatory sushi sashimi from the counter to ramen n bento boxes. A defo return to try other stuffs.

I have walked past this place almost every day but usually get my Sushi in St Leonards from Cafe Wasabi across the street. I finally tried Dinings as I noticed walking by that the deluxe box included raw tuna and scallop nigiri (both are not available at any other sushi place in St Leonards and happen to be two of my faves). The raw tuna and scallop were soft, tasty and fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. The grilled salmon and prawn nigiri were also very tasty. The Edamame was okay and the salmon sashimi was tender and sweet. For 13 dollars it wouldve been nice to maybe have one more addition to the box as I'm still a bit hungry.

Good selection of lunch specials. Nice chicken katsu and their curry sauce is pretty yummy too. The sushi is pretty decent too. Prices are okay. It’s nothing amazing but it’s a nice option to have in the area.

When I checked out the eateries in the Forum (St Leonards) for a weekday lunch, there was only one eatery out of many that had a large queue out the door - this one.

I can see why after having a lunch meal for only $10. Great value Japanese food (at least the teriyaki chicken meal I had) and tasty mini udon soup drink.

Good sushi, reasonable prices other than the 50c for transactions under $10. Choice of various bento boxes and other things that also looked good. Queues out front tell the story, popular place.

The lunch specials are very well priced. I had the teriyaki tofu Bento and I really enjoyed it ($13 for a decent amount of food). The chicken katsu curry was also quite decent. Take away is really good too!

Ramen was good but definitely recommend their lunch combo which is a rice dish and udon noodles for $10. Value for money. Staff are nice.

I work near by and love to come here for lunch, they have plenty of vegetarian options, their vegetarian sushi box is great value for 8 dollars. Quick friendly service and yummy food. What else could you need!

Great place for a weekday take away lunch. They provide various fresh baked rolls with chicken / beef / pork and salad. Good value and meal combos with drinks and a side of chicken wings if you're so inclined
