Came here to try the raw marinated crab. Ended up getting both the soy and spicy version, the soy is definitely my fave. Sweet and fresh crab with a delicate and flavourful soy marinade. We also got the cheesy spicy chicken which was great too. Will definitely be back!
We ordered a hotpot and their signature soy marinated raw crab (ganjang-gejang). The crab was delicious especially with the multigrain rice and banchan.
The old man was lovely (not sure why other reviewers say he is rude - probably they don't understand him). He took effort to give my 4yo a kid spoon, and asked if kids wanted to try some Korean sodas.
Excellent Korean restaurant. Very homely and great friendly service from staff. Food was amazingly good. Well presented and delicious. Nice dining atmosphere. Everything was great.
Apr 2022: really good beef tartare bibimbap with fresh veg. Great pork bone soup with deep flavours. A bit of a let down were the marinated soy sauce crab which wasn’t as outstanding as the other reviews say it is. It tasted not fresh and a bit old tbh….also the spicy chicken was just a tad over cooked. Overall the flavours tasted homely and still enjoyable dinner
May 2021: Friendly service, nice side dishes, home style cooking, very tasty, wide variety on the menu. Liked their braised hair tail stew. Recommended and will return!
The first time I went because my friend recommended having this soy crab from there. I’ve since tried the spicy and non spicy version! This crab is so yummy, sweet and fresh! Must try! The owner was super friendly and telling us about how Mama Park does all the cooking so they have consistency in the food. Lovely family run restaurant with nice range of Korean meals - everything we have had so far has been so good! 🙂
The owner is extremely friendly and hospitable. It feels like going to a friend's house.
Very nice place to have dinner and drinks at if you want to be in a less crowded area in Strathfield. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I like that the rice they served when I was there was not the usual white rice. Food is good value for money and tastes homey.
