This restaurant has stood the test of time. It’s being around since I’ve been alive! I remember it fondly and decided to get some takeaway from them. Nice service from the lady over the phone and made sure to double check my details and order.
My order of Special Fried Rice and Sesame Honey Chicken was ready when I arrived and made payment then. The rice had plenty of pieces of chicken, bbq pork, ham, and prawns in the egg fried rice. Nice flavour to it. The chicken was coated in sticky honey sauce and not too over battered. Good pieces of chicken rather than some places where it’s mostly batter and not much chicken!
Overall quite a good dinner.
Food is always consistent here, eat here to take away on a weekly basis and they never fail. Full of flavor and is so much better than your 5 star Chinese restaurants at the city!
I have been coming here since I was a little kid. They never disappoint! The food is great and the staff are friendly.
When I was a meat eater my favourite dishes were the Mongolian Lamb and the Szechuan Chicken. When I become a vegetarian the vegetable chow man and the Fried Bean Curd.
If you want to try an amazing seafood dish, pre-order the "gold and silver fish".
I love coming here. Great atmosphere, great service, large servings which are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Great Chinese Food. The Golden Coronet is a favourite restaurant of ours. Can definitely recommend the Fried fish with lemon sauce, Singapore noodles, Honey King Prawns, Combination Chow Mein (crispy noodles), Steamed dim sims ~ The list goes on!!! Each dish we have found to be consistently good ~ that's why we keep going back!! Do try it ~ feel sure you won't be disappointed!
Fantastic food, dining experience and the menu is reasonably priced. We ordered sizzling Mongolian lamb (the meat was very tender) And honey chicken (was so nice and crispy). I've been searching for a while to find a good Chinese restaurant around this area and was continually disheartened with overpriced food that tasted like the sauce was from a jar, however this restaurant is authentic and I will definitely visit again!

After several visits recently, this has become one of my favourite Chinese restaurants. The food is superb and the staff all friendly and helpful.
If you're planning on dining Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings, booking is essential.
Prices are reasonable and you'll have a great night out. If you can't dine in, there is take away or delivery available.
This place has been serving consistently fantastic food since I was little (and I'm old now). The staff are sweet and friendly and if you want take out they have it ready really quickly.

We've been to this restaurant for the past 20 years and we still go back whenever we get the chance. Ask for the sizzling chicken with peaking sauce. It's not on the menu but has the same taste no matter how many times management or the chefs have changed. Definitely recommend with the vegetarian fried rice and vegetarian spring rolls as entree. We rocked up with 15 mins left till kitchen close and they still catered for us and their customer service was immaculate. Will definitely recommend this place for local Chinese!!
This institution has been around for a long time... and I am grateful... their chicken in oyster sauce is my favourite... vegetarian fried rice and any of the San Choy Bows .... delicious.... thank you for making me happy every time 💖
