I have a soft spot for Boucla, mainly because I'm a bit in love with the eclectic Moroccan decor and interior of this small cafe. A lot of small tables squashed into an even smaller area but the intimate atmosphere is lovely. Coffee here is very good & the chocolate and ricotta cake is a must try, as is the souffra (or any of their cakes/slices really). Breakfast menu is a bit unexciting & hasn’t been that great from past vists - the usual fare of granola and egg dishes, but it’s available until 2pm on the weekend which is a bonus. Not a fan of pre-made food like the frittatas, bagels and salads that are on display in their fridge cabinet so can't comment on these. Menu is a little limited and as such I normally come here for a coffee or chai, a yummy slice of cake/dessert and a good catchup with my girlfriends.
Tried the beef brisket sandwich... Phenomenal. The tzatziki my partner tried... Phenomenal... Mind blown.
Fabulous scrambled eggs, chocolate ricotta cake (they run out so get in early!) and of course shakshouka - but that’s where the 4 instead of 5 comes from. What’s up with potatoes in shakshouka? They used to do it differently and have even changed the kind of bread it is served with. Still a winner, don’t get me wrong, but I will never forget the shakshouka of old. It was pure gold. Friendly service and they are very good at what they do. Space inside is tight and super cosy.
Best scrambled eggs we’ve ever had! Turmeric latte was very nice (hard to find) and will be back. Photos are a bit dark due to lighting but it’s a lovely place to eat in person, nice ambiance
Awesome cake. Great coffee. Amazing breakfasts. Try the Turkish eggs! Love the shakshuka too.
Greek baklava is the best in Perth.
Try it. Best cosy café in Perth.
Great location for a weekend breakfast outing. Good food and good coffee. I liked it and will be back. Pulled pork and poached eggs was especially tasty!
Love love love their filo and custard tart, it’s amazing and I’m craving for more! Their mocha was also really nice, and they have great coffee. Their matcha latte is a little milky though, and can taste some cinnamon.
I forgot what exactly we got, but the one with bacon/pork bits was SO good. The shakshouka was ok.
This place is also so aesthetic, a very cosy cute place to hang out! And lovely staff. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing coffee and cake and brunch! 🙌🏼
Went to this place few months ago actually. Only now had the time to review it Loved the place. And the coffee was quite good. We ordered the salmon bagel and the other one which j cant remember. The bagel was amazing but i remember my husband complaining about the soft boiled eggs were not soft enough. But other than that, we live this place.
I fell in love with the eccentric interior.
First time here this morning. Service was friendly and helpful. Small menu and even smaller seating area that seems to get more cramped the further in you get... chairs n tables squashed together with barely enough room to move between them. Tiny outdoor space great for couples but not much else. Definitely not the place to go if you have a pram or mobility aid.
Food was awesome though. One of the best tasting granolas I've ever had, served with stewed fruit and a small but sensational panacotta. No need for the side serve of milk. Skinny capp was perfect too.
My young breaky companion wasn't as sold on Boucla's toasted croissant... too heavy on the cheese and not enough ham. Not completely toasted either so the cheeses were still solid rather than melted.
Good news for her drink though... Boucla serves different flavours of freshly-squeezed juice and you can mix n match ingredients. Apple + orange were spot on what the doctor ordered today.
I've wanted to try Boucla for ages and very happy that I finally did it today. Going back next time for some of the tempting Greek sweets in the cabinet.
Came to Boucla for brunch on their first Sunday trading day. The shakshouka was amazing - just the right amount of spice with an incredible mix of flavours. The perfect winter's dish. Will definitely be back.
Really nice atmosphere inside. Turkish style breakfast I think which isn’t my favorite but still interesting. Only breakfast menu on Sundays though and the cake selection was limited. If I go again I’ll just grab a drink and some snacks.
Their soufra was SO GOOD!
An absolute pleasure to eat, flaky, and not too sweet.
Just a slight complaint about the tiny serve of chorizo as an add on for $6.
But otherwise, delicious food in a beautiful little place!
Really love this place! Even though I didn't take pics of the desserts, you must try the filo custard slice - it's gorgeous! The souvlaki and moussaka are delish.
Beautiful European café with creative dishes and traditional ambience.
Food is delicious with portions on the conservative side.
Coffee is excellent — on the Left(field) side
👌.
Service is ok but a bit slow – Boucla gets busy (popular) and a bit crammed. Definitely, well worth a visit - or two ...

Love the decor, reminds me of trips to Greece. Pastries and coffee were nice. My daughters chose this coffee shop as they knew it would appeal to me.
Came here for a birthday, what a lovely start to the day, the staff are so lovely and attentive. Perfect service, cake and coffee!
This is my new favorite place and I am specifically addicted to their Sofra cake( I don’t know how to spell it). It is soooooooo good. The almond cookie (crescent) is the best. In short I just love all their desert menu. Their food, coffee and ambiance are nice too. The staff are friendly. Basically, a must go-to cafe!
Such a surprisingly different menu that takes brunch on a Sunday to a great place. Staff were excellent and the food and coffees equally as good. Highly recommended.
