Review Lulu La Delizia - Subiaco

Magnificent. Critically acclaimed. One Chef's Hat restaurant. And well deserving. I've been a regular at Lulu's since their inception. The staff are passionate about their pasta. Everything is made in-house as it should be. An intimate, warm interior dining space. Friendly service. The restaurant often has a full dinner service. Bookings recommended. The staff read the requests which is always appreciated :) Luca, the somm is passionate about Barolo. And will always have a stellar suggestion by the glass. Wishing him all the best for the WSET-3. Follow their instagram, it will often show the daily special. I recommend the Chef's menu. You can request a menu dish make an appearance. (I love the meatballs and polenta) Pasta al dente with rich, flavoursome sauces better than I've had in Italy. Don't forget dessert. The panna cotta texture is usually perfect but the Tiramisu is my favourite in Perth. It is also my daughter's favourite. You won't ever leave the chef's menu hungry. Other tips: There is ample parking in the Barker Street/Forrest Square carpark. Lulu La Delizia is in the walkway in between Forrest Street and Rokeby Road.

Service was extremely good, food however was disappointing. We ordered the saffron spaghettini, tagliatelle and tiramisu. Saffron spaghettini Sodium bomb, we could not finish the dish due to the level of saltiness, pasta was not Al dente. Tagliatelle Everything was ok with this dish but nothing amazing. Tiramisu Not bad but the coffee was too strong for my liking. I still prefer tiramisu from Ciao Italia better. Will I come back again? Nope

Lulus is great for a special occasion! One of the few places in Perth with authentic pasta dishes. I come here regularly and am never disappointed. The staff are always the same and really know their stuff, lots of fun and not overbearing. The atmosphere, service, decor, food and wine are always beautiful.

I’ve visited many times and the quality has always been a standout, as has the service. The chefs menu at the moment is top notch, the 3 cheeses spaghetti with truffle was very indulgent and I could easily have had another plate. The fact you can struggle to get a booking tells its own story. The place has a vibe, it’s like being in a London brasserie. Busy, lots of people to serve but that didn’t distract the service - it was quirky, humerus and fun. Love it. See you again soon

Just another Italian restaurant? No, it is a team of passionate staff delivering a memorable dining experience to all who walk through the door. Even our critic kids were impressed with not just the quality of their dishes and cappuccino (yes they are picky with their coffee), but also the genuine respect shown by the wait staff. All the people serving us were friendly and helpful beyond what they were paid to. The positively cohesive culture permeates to their open kitchen and the food they serve. Their pasta had this homemade deliciousness that I’d wish I could speak Italian to praise it properly. An unforgettable evening that we’d like to go back to for more.

Absolutely beautiful!! The food was incredible, the closest food I’ve ever eaten that taste so much like my nonnis cooking! The flavours were amazing and quality great. We got the chefs menu and would 100% recommend especially if you’ve never been before. Great value for money when you consider the quality and flavours of the food. The waiter we had was also amazing, his service was next level and would return just based off his service! Definitely a place to get to if you appreciate good, authentic Italian food!

Do not ask for the chef's menu - stupidly rushed meal in 1.5 hours with unfinished dishes being replaced by waiters resulting in a stressed and unpleasant dining experience. The wine list is also very overpriced with mediocre Italian wines being sold at $120 per bottle when they retail for $30. Small restaurant with tiny tables too close together, so very noisy and claustrophobic. Good kitchen and service though. Definitely not worth the high price for a romantic dinner, far better choices!

Not often you visit a little Italian pasta resteraunt and you can leave with such a satisfied feeling but Lulu La Delizia does that! Small menu but good choices and delicious tasting food. A must do if you are around the area, friendly service and cosy service.
