Homestyle authentic Vietnamese pretty at very reasonable prices! Tastes just like a trip to Vietnam . And where else I'm Sunbury are you gonna find bubble tea ?! Just delicious.

My score 4 stars.  J & I lived at Riddells Creek for 9 years until Oct last year & got takeaway or had an eat-in lunch at SHF quite regularly.  Not the flashest interior (but there is outside seating - nice on a good day) & to be honest, all we cared about was the fact we had nice/good value Vietnamese food in nearby Sunbury!  The female manager was always polite & very helpful (you get free Tea if you dine in).  Our TA was always Prawn or Tofu rice paper rolls - made up fresh on the spot & with a yummy dipping sauce (the tofu ones were particularly good).  Our dine-in consisted of each of us having a Vermicelli salad w Tofu & Spring rolls - it stacked up pretty well to ones from Footscray cafés > not as many fresh herbs (but still plenty), REALLY good fried tofu strips, nice spring rolls & plenty of salad - their standard dressing was a soy based one, but we would ask for nuoc cham & it was very good.  They also do a special chunky spring roll, which looks very similar to Sapa Hills Hanoi-style ones.  From what we experienced, I can't understand why the overall rating is so low (see all the other ACTUAL reviews too).  When SHF first opened there was some consternation from some competing restaurants & the initial silent votes really dragged the average down - just saying...
