Went there tonight for our last night of holidays. Earlier in the evening we had tried another pancake place in Surfers Paradise, and after being seated didn't see a waiter for so long we left. Found our way to Pancakes on the Rocks, within minutes of being seated we had more than 1 waiter come to serve us, and the service continued to be excellent all evening with all 3 servers we interacted with. Food was also great. Thanks for a great last night in Surfers!

Wait was a bit longer than expected but not too bad. Staff were very friendly and overall decent sized portions for the price. Coffee was fantastic, will be back.
I ordered a pancake with ice cream and it was perfect. It was warm and fluffy, just the way I like it. Its not pretty cheap too I highly recommend this place.
I had a craving for pancakes so we found this place and thought we'd give it a go, as another well known pancake shop we tried going to had already closed - it wasn't even 9pm! We were pleasantly surprised by Pancakes on the Rocks - I had the Devils Delight and my husband had the Bananarama and a hot chocolate, the pancakes were delicious and a very generous serve, and our waitress was super friendly. Highly recommended.
Someone very special and cute wanted to go here even tho I wasn't keen. I went in with low expectations. The inside was neat and tidy and not too busy considering it was 8am on Saturday. We had a savory pancake (maple syrup, sausages, scrambled eggs) and the raspberry crepes. The crepes were very yummy ! The savory pancake was a bit dry but alright. Coffee was better than I was expecting. Thanks Pancake on the Rocks 💝

Service was friendly and efficient. Restaurant was half full on Sat morning and meals came or in about 15 minutes. Tip for young players: the black forest pancakes are very rich. I have a good appetite and struggled to get though them. Only for serious sweet tooth!
Nice coffee, yummy pancakes. Well priced. Provided colouring in for kids. Service was a bit slow. We were the only table in so expected much faster and kids meals came last.
Went here for breakfast after a night out. Perfect end to a good weekend, first time I have been here but probably the best pancakes I have ever had.
The staff were a bit unprofessional I guess, the guy tried taking our order from memory without a pen and paper, I knew instantly he would mess the order up or forget but I don't really care.
I ordered the banana pancakes with a request for macadamia nut pancakes, my girlfriend got the chocolate pancakes I think and my mate ordered the pancakes with an egg or bacon on them. And coffee of course.
Like mentioned previous the macadamia nut pancakes were incredible highly recommend, coffee was great and the side of bacon we ordered was perfectly cooked. Great portions and nice food with friendly service. If I lived in Gold Coast I would come here very often but I see no reason this doesnt deserver a 5/5 even with the waiter forgetting our order.
Amazing food, big serves,very friendly staff, not pushing to get you in fed and out, big seating areas, quick service, choices of food for kids is good and prices wont break the bank, better alternative than Maccas for breaky. pancakes n berries, eggs n bacon +, very tasty and filling. be back next holiday.
Ordered The Ultimate and Passionfruit Mocktail. Good experience but they should've provided spoons as the sauce was hard to finish with a knife and fork. Not many halal options (vegan options are available) but can be a good restaurant for a sweet tooth. Overall experience 8/10.
Dined in for Boxing Day Breakfast and was very impressed with our waiter Cem. He was very attentive, checked back our order to us, and was friendly and polite. There were only 2 servers on, but we never felt that we were waiting or the service was slow. Prices very reasonable for a public holiday and enjoyed our meals and coffee. Would recommend for a nice casual bite and then wander along the beach and the shops afterwards.
A great meal was had by all. We had a steak. It was well cooked and tasted great. The pancakes were delicious 😋
Went with my family twice while we were staying at the Coast, both times the staff was friendly and service was efficient. The food was great, will go back again!
