Great food, great coffee. Im not often in the area but will remember this place for next time.
I can always count on the BEA roll or the Bircher muesli on your take away menu - great value for $10 and the best way to come off a long night shift!
Perfect Sunday breakfast, good size meal, v flavoursome and quick service 👌🏽 will be back!

The Benedict was 10/10 for us (although one of my friends found it a bit acidic). The shakshuka flavour was 👌 but was vegetarian and didn’t have optional chorizo selection on the side even.... which is a bit strange. Bircher muesli was fresh and tasty too.
Only downside is the price for the portion.... quite expensive for what you get to be honest, both for food and for coffee 🤔
But tasty enough that I’d go back again ✌️

We’ve been wanting to come here for so long. We finally made it and it was not a disappointment. Loved the lamb baked eggs with the crispy bread on the side. The fruit juice (we go apple, orange and ginger) was super refreshing and the snickers milkshake was so worth every calorie. Dishes were fulfilling and the prices were not bad. Service was also great. Highly recommended.
Service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. The lamb baked eggs was very fulfilling and had heaps of flavour. The Brekkie Board was also delicious, the hummus was fragrant and well spiced. I also loved the falafel, it was dense yet moist and full of flavour. Would love to come back and try the other foods along with their coffee.

A nice little place for brunch. I really enjoyed the frenchie, it was excellent - a flavourful dish 😍 I tried some of the fries and loved them, it was covered in so many spices which was tasty. Friendly service and generous portions. It was quite busy when we got there but we were lucky a table was made available for our party of 6.

Surprisingly I love this cheese cake.
This deadly combo cost me $10, but it was worth every penny.
I had the weekend special quinoa bowl and although it was quite naturally oily and looked a bit gooey, it tasted amazing!! will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.
Really like this cafe. It gets pretty busy on the weekend so be prepared to wait for a little bit. Food is delicious and staff are friendly. Will be back!
Surry Hills is always a good place to find great breakfast or brunch. Service is good, great French toast with that amazing maple serup! Not a big place but really nice food and service
I sat at the front bar table facing the street. It was pleasant watching the neighbourhood walking their dogs.
The staff was uplifting. They generally had a smile and a positive personality.
I had the eggs Benedict, it was nice. They put a light spice to give it a unique taste.
I was recommended shashuka as the weather was rather cold. I’d say it’s by far the best I ever eaten. The pita bread that goes with it was perfect. Cafe latte is good too. Love the overall lively vibes of this cafe.
• The location is really convenient because it's accessible by walking or tram.
• Interior space seems not really large, but there are many tables to sit.
• The service is efficient.
• Price is reasonable.
• Food is average with adequate servings.
This has been on my wishlist for years and finally ticked off today.
The menu selection is quite standard but the food didn’t disappoint us.
Had the Moroccan lamb with baked eggs ($21) and homemade roasted pitas. The pita was amazing so fragrant with great fluffy texture and the lamb stew was just perfect choice for a cold day.
Leo Bagel ($17) with smoked salmon was classic and delicious too. The sour creme with dills combination just couldn’t go wrong!
The filtered coffee was not beet impressed with the first few sips, but got better and better afterwards!
Hot chocolate is just ok.
Always a fantastic experience at Four Ate Five. Great service, coffee and fresh, tasty food. Today I ordered the four Ate Five salad and it was great. Large portion, beautifully presented and felt really full after. Would highly recommend!
Nice small cafe, we came in with a team of 10 and they handled us very well. Food was top notch also…..I ordered lamb murgeuz with baked eggs. I was pretty jealous of my friends chicken sandwich though
10-15min wait for a table of 6 on Saturday 11.30.
Menu looked unassuming but the food was delicious when it came out. Good flavours, generous amount of chorizo in my baked eggs special and the chai was nice and spicy. Had vegan options. Will visit again.
Consistently good, every time I visit Surry Hills. Fresh, delicious breakfasts. Great coffee. Fantastic, relaxed vibe. Good staff. Inside & outside setting.
