Just great taste sensations with each dish - the salmon so sooooo good - service first rate - highly recommend
Ridiculously delicious beyond words food and amazing AMAZING service! My experience was just beautiful on every level! Everything was perfect. Every dish that was brought out sent my tastebuds wild and we couldn't stop wow-ing all night long. We were the last to leave because the space was equally gorgeous. I've dined at every top restaurant in Sydney and this is most definitely in my top 3. I can't wait to dine here again!!!! Thank you for the flawless experience.
Fantastic professional service. I normally don’t eat middle eastern food due to constant traces of nuts and the high amount of nuts used in the food (severe nut allergy), however this place was excellent at catering to nut allergies and made sure I had my own Mezze plate that was nutfree. The quality of the food was still high quality despite the changes they made to suit me and that professionalism and attention to detail made the overall experience excellent. The lamb shank was the best dish as it was so tender and full of different flavours and many combinations were possible with the addition of the pancake. The ambience and bustle of the restaurant was also extremely nice to see whilst sticking to social distancing guidelines. It was the best experience I’ve had with middle eastern food.
Dishes tried- oysters, hommus, fig & haloumi, zucchini flowers, tuna kibbe, lamb shoulder and pommes. The quality was there, would have liked some fresh herbs added for example to the hommus and fig & haloumi just to break up the flavours as the haloumi was drenched in honey, something sweet to the tuna (added some of the honey from the haloumi) and maybe something wet like a yoghurt to the lamb or dressing. Pommes was too crispy/hard for our liking. Service was fine. Overall pleasant and would recommend.
Could not fault it! Lovely warm and welcoming casual atmosphere with professional and friendly service. Every dish we had was beautiful and simple. Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, buratta, lamb and gig and haloumi - all delicious and Perfect amount for 3 to share. We also had the parfait. Lovely place
Small little space in a residential/commercial complex. Very close to the original Kepos Street Kitchen. Only bummer is location if taking public transport but it's ok. Came here for Friday night dinner and greeted warmly. Attentive service and some great choices on the menu. We went for hummus with bread, lamb shoulder and brussel sprouts. Did get asked if we wanted to get more but we were fine.
Food's yummo, so would like to come back and try more.
Hige fan of Kepos and Co. The dishes are modern takes with classic flavours and executed perfectly. The haloumi with figs is next level, the burrata is a must, and the wagyu flank steak is just sensational along with the salads being fresh and crunchy. Love when a menu has some great vegetable dishes to be enjoyed on their own or with other amazing plates. Total must!
Warmth is the word comes to mind when describing Kepos & Co. From the warm lighting from the beautiful ornament hanging lamps, friendliest and most helpful staff to the flavour vibrant menu rich in middle eastern spices.
The menu changes seasonally. I had lamb shoulder and it was tender and full of flavour. But trust me when I say this, what you want is their Hummus which they always make fresh in front of you complete with mortar and pestle and serve with Za'atar bread on the side. And the bread is beautifully house made bread that was a perfect accompaniment with the Hummus.
Gorgeous interiors matched by amazing customer service and even better food! Kepos & Co is a hidden oasis on the outskirts of Waterloo.
Excuse my ignorance but before visiting Kepos & Co I had no idea how hummus was made, only that it was a gift from the Gods. Well at this restaurant, they made the hummus in front of me and oh my goodness it was heavenly. Rich and warm with chunky pieces of chickpea, this hummus was packed full of flavour which I dipped into over and over with fresh oven-baked bread.
The kingfish ceviche was beautifully presented with pomegranate gems to add sweetness and colour and radish sprouts creating an intricate webbing on top. The kingfish was delicate and fresh and what I found interesting was the unexpected tingle it left on the palate. Lamb rump was cooked perfectly to medium rare which left the meat juicy and tender. The tahini added depth to the dish and I liked the bed of eggplant underneath.
To end a perfect night, I had to try the fig parfait. I liked the simplicity of the presentation not only for its aesthetics but also because it allowed each element on the dish to shine on its own and as a complete dish. The dessert was quite sweet but I enjoyed it after a heavy main course. I also liked how there were recommendations for drinks for each dessert. It was small touches like these that made the dining experience more memorable.

My thanks to Kepos & Co and Food Shot Sydney for the invite.
Great dinner for four with an outdoor table. The menu is small but offers choice and variety with many vegetarian options that are incredibly tasty (tasty enough to not miss meat). Never pass any opportunity to start your meal with the faithful fave, Warm Hummus with freshly baked bread. The hummus is made table-side by the wait staff and bread is wood-oven hot - delicious and moreish but don’t overdo the hummus & bread so you can’t enjoy the rest of the menu.
All dishes selected were delicious with stand outs Crispy Lamb Belly, Fig & Halloumi with Walnuts, Roasted Baby Carrots, Shaved Brussel Sprouts, Seared Yellow Fin Tuna & finally Lamb Shoulder.
A cheeky dessert of Halva Mousse was amazing and shared but instantly devoured.
Notes... The noise of all tables/diners is challenging and makes conversation difficult but is not a deal breaker (outdoor tables away from the dining room are slightly better). Make a booking for groups larger than 4 and if you prefer an outdoor table.
Order enough for 3 people:
- Tunisian Style Seared Tuna Salad (Awesome)
- Shaksuhuka with Soft Baked Eggs (Meh)
- Roasted Black Angus with Pearl Barley Salad (Awesome)
My first genuine 5 Star breakfast in Sydney. The decor makes you feel far away from the grind of the perpetual construction works in the neighbourhood.
The food was spot on and service was attentive without being in your face.
Can’t wait to get back. The Dads Favourite Breaky was incredible!
