Went for my wife's birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine and it was awesome. Each course had its own distinct taste witch flowed into each other so well. The staff were fantastic, they were friendly and all of them knew their dishes and could explain what it was and what was special about it. The wine matching was superb with a great explanation of the wine and how it complimented the meal. I am a carnivorous beast but I found the meal very tasty, filling and loved all of it.
We will definitely be going back to try the winter menu and have no hesitation in recommending this place to others.
So amazing! Great service and incredible food. We had the 7 course degustation but the 5 course would have sufficed. Best seat in the house at the ballroom table and enjoyed a quick cocktail by the bar post meal. Highly recommend Yellow for a truly special dining experience.
Yellow is a vegan and vegetarian fine dining restaurant in Potts Point. We went there for my birthday and we had a 5-course degustation with cocktails. There are not many vegan and vegetarian fine dining restaurants in town, and Yellow is an extraordinary representative.
The food was creative and presented beautifully. The choice of ingredients is simple but gives you an interesting palette of taste. The interior is on the warm tone with a rustic look, and the use of colour yellow coherent with the name seems very playful. If you are an adventurous foodie and want to explore more vegan/ vegetatian options, or a casual romantic date, why not give Yellow a go?

If you’re looking at the menu and finding it difficult to choose a dish to try then I highly recommend Yellow’s tasting menu. It made the hard decisions for us and everything was magnificent. The tasting menu comes as a five-course or seven-course degustation. The food was full of flavour and plated so beautifully. Dessert was basically to die for. Service from the staff members was exceptional from start to finish. Worth every penny in my opinion.
What a great experience! It is really fine dining without the need to go so fancy. The cuisine is vegetarian/vegan, and even though I was a little hesitant at first I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the dessert was so good that I’m still thinking about it!!
This vegetarian and vegan restaurant unreservedly merits it’s two hats. Delightful and knowledgeable waiting staff, hip decor, creative and innovative dishes. The emphasis on seasonal and unusual ingredients gets big ticks from me. This was my fourth visit and I cannot wait to visit again. #vegan #vegetarian

I went to Yellow for mine and my partners anniversary dinner and it was the most incredible experience. I was nervous going in because I wasn’t sure which dishes or how many were vegan but I was so pleased to hear from my waiter that every savoury dish could be made vegan! I started off with the apricot cocktail and my partner had the strawberry. I love fun so mine was delicious but Matt’s strawberry cocktail was so interesting, in the best way! For our main dishes we chose the zucchini flower, sweet potato chipotle tortillas, the baked onion with the most incredible sauce and filling inside (which was happily soaked up by their delicious freshly baked bread) and the eggplant dish. The last two dishes we absolutely incredible. I can’t choose which one I loved the most! They were both so delicious and tasted unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The dessert was also out of this world. We got the fig which was served with the most non vegan tasting ice cream and candied hibiscus flower, as well as a bunch of other yummy goodies.
The price point was also fantastic! I was expecting to pay at least $200 but it was only $144 for all of those dishes. We left feeling satisfied and so happy. The waiters are also so lovely and happy to help!
Love the use of native Australian ingredients in the dishes. The melon sorbet was absolutely incredible! The flavours of every single dish were so well balanced. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They knew every single dish inside out! Definitely recommend the tasting menu.

Can’t recommend this place enough. We had such a good time here. The food was delicious but I would come back just on the back of their fantastic service and hospitality. The place is cozy and a nice balance of fine dining and unpretentious atmosphere.
Friendly Staff, nice settings.. tried the 7 course #Vegan Meal, the corn sorbet was interesting and a first for me.
I recommend you get an uber as parking is scarce.

The Spot: warm, dim lighting - flattering if you’re looking haggard, inconvenient if you want to take photos. I noticed that despite being generously busy, there’s a quietness about this restaurant that I loved - perfect for catching up with a friend or date.
The Service: we had an array of waitstaff - most of them incredibly humble and personable with the one stray mumbler who didn’t seem like the loved the food as much as the others.
The Food: we (two smallish females) were recommended to go for the 5-course but in retrospect we could’ve comfortably finished the 7. First of all the complimentary bread - direct portal into my heart. Gloriously crisp yet moist and chewy on the inside. I would say the overall impression was that texture and umami were heralded in our set. Lots and lots of umami, to the point where our 3rd main was a touch repetitive. However the last main was by far our favourite - artichoke and goats yoghurt, flakey, succulent, perfectly balanced. The dessert was another jaw-dropper. The licorice honeycomb was ingenious and this coming from a non-licorice fan. We were so blown away that we ordered a second dessert separately. Best. Decision. Ever.
We chose Yellow because we love vegetables and wanted to know how they’ve pushed the boundaries with it - we got that and more. I would say that some more variety in the set was needed - perhaps a soup/broth to add some temperature and break up the umami (someone shoot me if I say that word again), and perhaps playing more with the chilli spectrum. The standout for me is how expertly they treated their dairy, both in mains and desserts. I’m definitely going to try their other restaurants.
Venue was nice and service from our waitress Samantha was nice. Some dishes took a long time to come out. We had a two hours sitting and went over by over 1 hour (we laid right after the final dish).
Some dishes were excellent, very flavourful, others (carrot dish) was lacking in flavour. All in all a great option for vegans!
Such a wonderful experience every time! The food is presented so beautifully and the tasting menu is really fun. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The vibe is fancy but not intimidating. I'd definitely take a food enthusiast here to impress them.
Love the concept and the atmosphere, the food is beautiful, but I can’t shake the feeling that something is missing. Wouldn’t mind it if the main meal was a bit more substantial. The non-alcoholic drink pairing is an absolute recommendation.
Went in with my partner for the special truffle dinner last night; it was a beautiful experience! Food was great (a lot of interesting flavour/texture combinations with the addition of classic European winter vegetables) - Staff were lovely. We found the portion sizes to be just right.

WOW! What an experience we had at this amazing restaurant. The flavours, presentation and different textures of the dishes were mindblowing. The wines were perfectly paired and explained by manager/sommelier Caitlin. All staff were very friendly and knowledgeable from the gentleman greeting us at the door and seating us at the table, the bartender who helped his colleague out by serving one of the wines and the manager/sommelier who gave us the best service that we experienced in a long time. The standout dishes for us were the Jerusalem Artichoke dish and the Muscovado, pear & "Dutch" gingerbread. The taste of the gingerbread brought me back to my grandparents place in The Netherlands with great memories, love it when food can do that. Chef nailed that one! I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant where you experience genuine hospitality and leave 100% satisfied. I also love the fact that they change the menu every 6-8 weeks. Thank you very much to the whole Yellow team! We will be back for another date night.
