Don't let the word "diner" fool you, even though it is down a small street. It is small and casual, but the food is nothing like typical diner food! Hubby and I read good reviews and thought we would try our last night in Sydney. What a gem! Delicious good, great wait staff and fun, neighborhood atmosphere that plays blues and country type music. The meat tray with prosciutto, salami and cheese was the perfect start. Special was pork belly with whipped potatoes and beet root. Pork was so tender and I'm not a beet person, but the beet root with cream sauce was delicious. Highly recommend!
Best Italian food in Australia! This is our new favourite Sydney restaurant! We went last night and already want to go back. The charcuterie board was amazing - generous portions of the best prosciutto, cheese and homemade pickles we’ve had. And the pasta. OMG the pasta. We tried all three. Simple, quality ingredients cooked well. The gnocchi with the n’duja was perfectly cooked and the flavour was amazing. The cacio e pepe was also al dented and delicious. And the carbonara was simple the best carbonara we’ve ever eaten. Please eat it, even if just for the beyond deliciously crispy bits of porchetta!!! And the service was fabulous too! Efficient, knowledgable and friendly and not at all pretentious. Can’t wait to go back!
SO... Where to start ? Atmosphere, people, food and drinks... everything is well nailed. We had a fantastic evening, the atmosphere of this place is really nice, for couples, or friends. The food is tasty, well presented. Staff is very welcoming. Had a little crush on their wine list... organic or biodynamic for the most of it. My new fav in Potts point !
