The Ricotta dumplings are amazing it’s a must try. Fried shrimp needed a bit more zest as well as the trout but overall great dining experience.
Firstly much gratitude to Cirrus for accommodating my sisters garlic/onion family allergy. The food was outstanding albeit a little small portion size for mains. Excellent varied wine list, and great suggestions by our lovely waitress. Would definitely return.
Seafood was fresh and delicious. Lots of wine choices to pair up with food. Roasted prawns and pickled pipis were stand out dishes. White miso custard as dessert was a satisfying way to finish off the meal. Will be back!
This is a pretty good seafood restaurant located towards the northern end of Barangaroo. We had the Cirrus seafood platter which had a great selection of very fresh and delicious cooked and raw seafood. The grilled prawns and rib eye were also amazing dishes with great flavour and sauces. We came for lunch and the restaurant got very busy and noisy when seated inside but the service staff were professional and great.
I had dinner at Cirrus last night and was extremely impressed with just about everything. All the staff greeted us warmly, something you don’t necessarily expect at a fine dining restaurant. All of the food was wonderful, the standouts being the roasted prawns and the trevalla. The cauliflower side was also delicious. While the food was impeccable, the service here is something to be applauded. I will most likely be back.
Food is good but not impressive. Drips of water dropped down from the air conditioner into my classes and dishes. The staff member there just changed the sparkling water but actually did nothing else for that. Probably I won’t recommend this restaurant.
Celebrated my birthday and anniversary here and it was absolutely beautiful, from the delicious food to the amazing service! Will definitely be returning.
Cirrus occupies a beautiful spot by the harbour and is best enjoyed at sunset. The menu is heavy on seafood, although they have an amazing Rib-Eye. I still have memories of that steak from my last visit! We had the Cirrus Menu this time so there was no agonising over choices. Seafood was fresh but otherwise no dish was particularly a stand out. Reliable quality and attentive service makes this place a 5-star.
$95 banquet cost $160 a head for shared plates - 4 plates between 11 people without explanation and then without explanation only 3 plates. We had to ask where the other one was to be told that was it. Then 6 plates of a slice for dessert . Then because I was not prepared with cash and used a card they added $25. So 185 dollars for a $95 meal . We had 4 bottles of wine between 11 and 6 of us had a beer and 2 had a mixer. And they added the tip to the bill as a surcharge.
Avoid Cirrus. I feel like i was held upside down and shaken until the money was all gone. Food was good but not memorable.
Leaves a lingering sense of outrage which obscures the relatively attentive service, a yum cha like piling of plates on the table for the "entre" courses, and the odd mix of decent food and lack of explanation. They put it down and leave you to it. They do answer questions though.
Service was ok, but really enjoyed the food here. Yummy fresh seafood, with great sides as well. Didn’t have a chance to have dessert, but judging by the food standards, will definitely come back to try!!

Great tasting menu. Decor and vibe was more casual than I expected. Favourite dishes were the bread and the lamb (which was a surprise considering it’s a seafood restaurant). The chocolate cake was WAY too rich the two of us couldn’t finish one serve. And we love chocolate cake. Staff seemed a little uncoordinated on the night and toilets are not on site which is bizarre for a fine dining.
We walked-in on a Saturday night for 6 people and luckily they were able to accommodate. The waitress looking after us was very friendly. We all went for the Cirrus Menu costing $119 per head, it was very filling in the end, food was descent.
Came here on Sunday 20 Feb, food and service was fantastic. Brought out dessert with Happy Birthday written on it for my partner. Everything was great, however it would have been better if the meat we ordered had come out at the same time as the seafood, it came out on its own after we had the bread sides and seafood, it was just a bit overpowering to have on its own.

Great meal at Cirrus Dining in the heart of Barangaroo. We came here to celebrate Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were friendly and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect for the occasion. Restaurant also had outdoor seats overlooking the water and ferries, would definitely recommend sitting outside for lunch on a sunny day.
We had the Cirrus Tasting Menu, each course had generous portions for sharing. We particularly enjoyed the yellow fin tuna with the crispy chip and also the lamb course which was cooked perfectly. The dessert was just the right amount of sweet and had great flavours. We visited during The Fork Festival so were able to enjoy the menu at 30% off.
Definitely worth a try, especially when there’s a discount.
Late lunch. Went there without a booking on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food was good. We probably over estimated ourself and ordered a bit too much for 2 people as we were starving! Overall we had a great time.
