I visited this place on Friday and thought it was fantastic. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the Pad See Ew. which was one of the best I've eaten in Sydney. This place also does great desserts so make sure you keep enough room for those fancy delights. I would note that the food was relatively spicy and I was reaching for the water on frequent occasions.

Just had the most beautiful coffee and sandwich here...awesome menu (I struggled to decide what to choose!) and the coffee was the best coffee I've had in ages! Great prompt customer service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cafe to friends. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes off the menu :)

Food is tasty and authentic. The decoration for the dessert wasn’t there as shown in the menu. 12$ for coconut ice cream with chendol can look nicer. Agreed with other comments, some staffs are not so prompt in service. However, will go again for the tasty food.

My first time. Love the setting here. Food is good the noodle texture still good despite soak in soup for a while. The sauce dip for chicken wing was amazing. Only thing is staff not as attentive as I hope food.

🍳 boon cafe 🍞 steamed bread w/ pandan kaya 🛶 boat noodle 🍄 north eastern mushroom soup 🐽 pak mor yuan 🏠: @booncafe 📍: Sydney CBD 📝: Always have to have Chat Thai and Boon Cafe (their more chic cafe version of the resto) every time I’m back in Sydney. It’s a place where I know won’t go wrong and that I’ll be satisfied with the taste. The taste is authentic with some dishes with modern twists. ❤️: I’m all down for their dessert. The 💚🍞 Milk Steamed Bread with Pandan was AMAZING, just like how I like to have it from the street vendors at home! Love the groceries here as well. Bought the ready-to-eat Pak Mor Yuan and devoured it in one go. Absolutely delicious!

My friend and I loved our breakfast there. We really enjoyed the crab congee, pandan custard croissant, and the bacon & sourdough. The egg dish wasn't what we expected, but otherwise, it was worth visiting. I would definitely recommend this place!

A Thai grocer combine with a all day café/restaurant with an extensive menu of Thai dishes. I have only tried the breakfast items of congee and pandan toast. The congee (Chinese rice porridge) is thick and smooth, the way I like it. I also like this version of pandan toast. The one in Bangkok is usually served on steamed white bread. The bread here is toasted with a crispy edge and soft white centre. The custard is thick, smooth and full of pandan flavour. The whole dish is sweetened with a layer of condense milk at the bottom. Nice touch!

I loved this crab congee!! It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The staff were very kind as well. +Added after second visit I love this crab congee even more than last time with less ginger on top. The noodle soup was really nice, too! And their bread with pandan is just so beautiful. So soft and tasty. They open quite early in the morning, so if you are staying in CBD, this place is great for breakfast!

The chicken feet are super good! Wide rice noodle is also pretty nice! I saw the matcha ice cream someone ordered. Will come back for that!
