If you’re looking for a cost Italian eatery with all the aspects of a quality place less the price, this is it. Food was fantastic and staff were well organized. This place has that local home style feed with out the fuss
Pizzas slightly larger than normal.
I didn’t like the sausage taste on my friend’s pizza but mine with prosciutto was ok.
Nice rustic ambiance with more than one room and divided in two levels. Not crowded, not noisy and good service.
This is another place for the pizza you might like the place has some amazing varieties and you are definitely gonna like it a must visit place if you really want some great pizza
Had the fun guy pizza, Napoletana gnocchi and ravioli. Pizza was great - good base and toppings the gnocchi was good but the ravioli was quite a let down - undercooked and the filling was tasteless. Staff were friendly though and service was great
Absolutely perfect service by a single waitress. Nailed all the minor details that so many places seem to now overlook; continually topped up water, remembered orders and got details right, checked everything was ok, offered dessert and coffee etc.
Food was also perfect. Pizza amazing as real Italian pizza so often is - crisp base with a hint of char from the wood fire, fresh Italian ingredients. Gnocchi was pillowy melt in your mouth goodness, and the mushroom and truffle sauce had a good whack of truffle without being overpowering.
They only lose the 0.5 stars as we booked based on the menu on their website, but the menu in the restaurant was a much abbreviated version. We all still left very happy and will definitely be back.
We got take away via Ubereats so cannot comment on the actual restaurant but the food was exceptional. Probably the best Ragu I've ever eaten and the pizza was amazing too. Will definitely order again .
Don't know the head waitress but she's the best! Food is amazing, wish they had more chicken on their menu.
Slightly hidden but worth the walk
Cozy Italian spot that has a very authentic feel. The gnocchi and ravioli were both delicious. Place was packed but the waitstaff was very attentive without hovering.
I liked this restaurant very much! The waiter was very friendly and tried to flirt with my friend, I didn't mind since it was pretty funny. I enjoyed the interior as well, had that rustic new York 30s Italy vibe but classical charm too.
Onto the main business of the day... the food. I ordered the bufalina pizza which was, dare I say it again, not as good as Napoli... But it was damn tasty at that! Cheese packed a punch and the pizza dough had the right consistency and was well cooked.
Friend ordered the vegetarian chickpea pasta which she noted was, while delicious, a tad small in terms of serving size. For dessert we ordered the ricotta cake which was creamy and baked well - satisfying, not amazing. Another friend had tiramisu which he critiqued similarly.
Overall would definitely return, good pizza and pasta and good vibes.
Another hidden gem around the corner from work! While not the cheapest lunch around, you can tell that this place would be a great dining option for dinner. We had a pizza and a duck ravioli which was definitely different compared to the norm. Both were top notch! If only they had a cheaper lunch menu then we'd be back more often!
