Massive restaurant hidden in a little alleyway in the CBD. They got a wide variety on their menu with decent quality ingredients. The prices are higher than the typical Korean restaurant though.

Danjee is one of the premium Korean restaurants in city. It’s probably the only place that I’d take the special guests. Interior is nice, it’s clean, dishes are presented well and has a very good range of Korean food. Lunch box is also very good. Highly recommended for business lunches & special occasion gatherings. I give this place 4 bears

If you’re a fan of bibimbap, definitely give this place a try. It’s filling and flavorful with plenty of side dishes included. Servers were attentive around lunch time, food came quickly, and it didn’t seem to get too busy in the restaurant. Place was clean and not sticky feeling, and even though they serve alcohol it doesn’t feel like a bar. Overall, great ambiance/music with a lot of younger patrons.

The food is wonderful and saucy but expensive price. There are 2 kinds of meal, one is BBQ one is normal meal. Should try the BBQ next time 😋
It is located in a little corner near Event Cinema, so it is quite hidden🤨

Our go-to Korean BBQ!!! Food is great and the staff are very helpful. Their wagyu rib finger tastes amazing as well as their ox tongue. The cheese-flavoured fried chicken remains my personal favourite. It is always good go to Danjee for bbq as air circulates pretty well inside the area. Could never go wrong with the ambience, food, and service.

I've been here for more than 3 times as I'm a big fan of Korean food&culture. The food is absolutely wonderful, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the Sausage+kimchi hotpot 부대찌개!!!
I wandered in with two friends on a  Thursday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. The fried chicken is incredible and the prices are extremely reasonable compared to similar places in town. Highly recommend!

Danjee is a popular Korean BBQ restaurant in Sydney CBD. I go there frequently with friends and we enjoy the BBQ as well as the fried chicken there, pairs well with soju.

There are many of these restaurants doted around the CBD but this one was memorable - the food was excellent and quick to be served. The waiters friendly and attentive. If you go there in a group make sure you book well ahead as it gets packed with patrons. Clearly a very popular eatery. Highly recommended.

Catching a film on the Easter long weekend gave me the perfect excuse to revisit Danjee Korean BBQ Restaurant. Located in an alleyway just near Event Cinemas, this Korean BBQ restaurant puts out above average Korean dishes. Even taking their latest reservation (8.30pm) into a mostly empty restaurant (the new normal for the second sitting) saw us receive one of the best kimchi jeon ($28) I’ve had. This crisp and airy spicy pork and pan-fried kimchi pancake was great against complimentary and happily replenished banchan (side dishes), including their standout kimchi. My other highlight was the dwejigogi dolsot bibimbap ($22). Presented in a super-heated stone bowl, this combination of spicy pork and black wild rice with kimchi, pickled and fresh vegetables, crisp seaweed and a raw egg combined into a very tasty melange. The temperature of earthenware serving vessel gives the rice a desirable crunchy crust. We also ordered bul dak ($48), a hot and spicy chicken dish with tteokbokki (rice cakes), pineapple pieces and a dusting of cheese melted over the top. It’s a particularly fiery dish here, so make good use of the pickled radish to put out the fire in your mouth. We over-ordered and ended up with enough containers of food to enjoy a no-cook dinner the next day. It was all so good, I will not leave it so long between visits again.

Being located at a convenient place, the restaurant gives a fine dine experience with its amicable and welcoming staff. The wait time is very conceivable so thats a plus, although as a personal suggestion there could be more vegetarian options on the list but the existing ones are good too. Presentation of the food is commendable and gives the authentic feeling. Dine in space is clean and tidy, keeping in maneuver the reverance of regulations relevant to the post pandemic guidelines.

Food was excellent. Wasn't busy when we arrived. It was a last minute decision to dine here and we had a 5 month old baby with us. The restaurant is not a pram or accessibility friendly restaurant. The staff didn't seem particularly happy that we needed the pram to leave the baby in at the table (she was sleeping in it, and she can't sit up unsupported in a high chair yet). Besides the pram issues, good food and excellent food service.

Beautiful and spacious restaurant. However, can be very smoky. There should be exhaust vent pipe I believe. And also, we weren't given lettuce for the bbq. I'm not entirely sure if they are included tho but it should be. Otherwise, I love their soju with fresh strawberries. 😋
