When you dine in this tea room, it makes you feel like you’re Queen’s grandchild. The food is on point and everything on the table looks like something from Buckingham Palace. I’ve enjoyed eating sandwiches, cakes & scones with cream + jam. I give this place 4 bears
I was starving, so despite the tempting Devonshire tea, high tea & a good range of sweet offers, I ended up ordering the ricotta & spinach gnocchi. This was one of the best gnocchi I’ve had. Light and fluffy like a cloud, they have a soft spring bounce to them, that not just delicious but also playful. Well seasoned, served with a light white foamy sauce, so it was not dried. Topped with juicy cherry tomatoes & sprinkled with pine nuts, which gave it different textures. On the sweet side, my friend enjoyed her choc fondant, oozy lava inside. Service was a bit slow, our tea took ages to come even after the food were served. Overall still a pretty good lunch, and will return when they’re not too busy.
- Nice place for tea break in Qvb.
-Foods is alright & variety of tea to choose from (Paris Vanilla Tea is my fav. You can buy tea leaves to home as well. The packaging is lovely).
