Went for a brunch with friends. We had 2 small/medium sized prams with us, the service was OK, one waitress wasn’t particularly helpful — there were available seats, but we weren’t offered to sit at those tables maybe because she fears we would block the way — but another waitress came and helped us.
We had BAE rolls and they were great. Large mocha was good too but wish it was more chocolatey.
Came here for coffee after having brunch elsewhere. We all got lattes and they were pretty good! It’s a really aesthetic cafe with pretty decor. Would stay here just to chill and chat with friends.
The coffee's rougher than most of the fancy coffee roasters (which I like) but still very creamy with some interesting flavour. Good but barely good enough for the price - being stronger or getting some syrupy flavour could have improved it. The rest of the cafe is perfect though, from the nice area (which unfortunately can be crowded even out of peak times) to the staff and the wonderful food - the meals are excellent but they even put effort into sourcing very very buttery croissant that didn't lose flakiness as those often do, and charged less for it than some fancy bakeries charge. I should have asked where they got it.
Had the Buckwheat waffle with pineapple and blueberries and the Fried buttermilk chicken burger for brunch. Was quite tasty. Serving was a bit small but enough for us. Coffee was good. It gets quite busy at around 11am so have to get in there early! Service was prompt
Vegan Bowl (4/5): A healthy bowl full of flavour! One of the best vegan bowls I’ve had with superbly cooked and flavoured mushrooms and a lovely mix of quinoa and grains. It looks too healthy to be true but the flavours and the textures will surprise you 👌🏻
Beans Medley (4/5): This is a GENEROUS serving of beans! The sourdough has a smear of buttery pesto and goes so well with the hearty bowl of beans. If you love something saucy, this one is a winner!
Iced Chai Latte (3/5): The chai was a bit underwhelming. It needed more flavour but when I asked for sweeter they didn’t have any so that was a bit of a let down.
Overall, would highly recommend the food here. Stellar brunch ☺️
Mecca really nails the converted warehouse vibe. The open space, clean decor and friendly staff help to create an open and friendly atmosphere. I ordered a panini sandwich which features pickled relish, an egg, bacon strips, aioli and some rocket ($14). The sandwich was simple and didn't look all too impressive but the flavours worked well on the crusty bread. The pickled relish was the standout and helped to cut through the saltiness of the bacon keeping it fresh. Also ft is the brocollini dish with spiced quiona, feta and rocket ($16), this dish was definitely one of the healthier choices and had a great spicy kick to it.
Came here today with a friend to get away from the heat :D. The staff was very friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. Mecca has a very nice and comfortable atmosphere which was great to just chill and chat in.
I ordered a milk coffee over ice and my friend got a soy latte. The ice coffee was great, but the coffee beans used for the soy latte wasn't to her taste but I personally liked it. Personal preferences I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Later on, I ordered Charred Corn Tacos which also tasted great and was filling. The spicy and tangy flavours melded together nicely. I actually ordered it 2 minutes before lunch ended (oops) but they managed to make it for me which I am grateful for :D.
Overall, a very lovely cafe :).
Overall it was satisfactory. The price is fair with the food taste and quality. Just did not like the environment that much. But generally, the food was tasty.

Mecca has always been an institution when it came to coffee but with this their latest offering they’ve transformed form not only producing great cups of coffee but great food also.
The setting is really comfy and allows you to be relaxed
The nourish bowl is really, really, good. It may look all green and tasteless but this is packed full of flavour. The interior was gorgeous too with its industrial-warehouse vibes. Service was good too!
This place is so underrated. With the great coffee and food I would’ve thought this cafe would be packed out on a Sunday afternoon. The coffee is one of the best I’ve had, so creamy and smooth. The pork belly roll was amazing, you can still taste the crispy skin without it being too hard to chew. The interior is a converted warehouse with high ceiling - such a good experience!
I enjoyed my laid-back weekend there with coffee, food and their lovely service. Their truffle seasonal burger can’t be missed. Just about the right portion of truffle to set off flavour of hamburger. Heads-up - bit challenge to get off-street parking spot so try your luck..
YES it really did taste as good as it looks! This was such a beautiful venue and the food and coffees were fantastic. We’re wishing we could eat another miso pork roll right now. We’ll definitely be back! 🍔🍳☕️
Their coffee is really great! Always have mecca beans. The ambience is incredible and service is spot on as well! Food is great but one thing I can comment on is that poached eggs could be better. All in all, always have a good time in this place.
Mecca is an excellent Sydney based coffee roaster. This is their little cafe. The interior space is beautiful and has a great modern industrial feel to it. It’s a lovely place to sit down and enjoy some good coffee and delicious food.
To be honest, I haven’t had food here very often, mostly just stopping in for coffee. But I tried their nduja bruschetta and it was quite delicious.
Wonderful experience on a wet Saturday morning. Staff are friendly. The coffee and meal are great. They parking is a bit tricky, but we are lucky to find a spot not too faraway.
Great coffee and great atmosphere. Maybe the coffee was too sweet even though I asked for just one scoop of sugar.
The girl serving us was so nice.
Lovely decoration as well.
