Great friendly service with consistently great sourdough. A very humble bakery chain. The coffee wasn’t very strong though, too milky in my opinion.
Good coffee? Yeah absolutely. @Xihuahua 🐶 recommended the place for coffee. It is quite aromatic. A little bit on the thin side in terms of viscosity. Not cheap though. Worth a try anyway. Their baked goods look quite enticing.
The best pork and fennel sausage rolls! Also great iced coffee and iced chocolates too. This place is always busy
The flat white was spot on along with the ginger tart. Super rich and tasty. Perfect combo!
Finally visited the much hyped bakeries in town and its worth the visit.Ut was busy during lunch hours. They have quick bites like toasties and quiches available along with dessert options.Tried the ginger brûlée tart and the chocolate tart. Both were delicious.
One of the must visit bakeries in sydney. We tried the chicken, sweet potato, leek pie , the lamb harissa ,almomd S/ roll ,, Choc tart n Carrot cake. Highly recommend the pie and carrot cake..
The hot chocolate here is my favourite.
Run by a bunch of highly energetic people who somehow maintain the same energy from morning till evening.
The red beard guy is funny and efficient like the other staff.
Its the people that makes the coffee shop more likeable. The new Veg pie is a game changer!! It tastes like a samosa that migrated to Australia.
The most popular coffee stop around here so expect queues. Worth it though for hot strong rough creamy coffee - could maybe have had a better flavour but I like a fancyish place that is not afraid to make it rough. Also pretty cheap for Barangaroo.
Stopped by for coffee and cake and the coffee was great, no complaints. We also shafted some cakes, fresh and lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive and served us quickly and also cleaned up quickly without being a bother. There's minimal space inside but there's a few tables outside to sit and watch the world go by. Really worth a try.
The breakfast roll at Bourke Street Bakery never ceases to please me and my partner- with their Smokey bacon, chunky BBQ sauce, and free range eggs- served on a fresh brioche roll.
Definitely a great 'pick me up' to my mornings, with a side of their delicious coffee, of course!
The place itself is quite small and quaint- packed all day round. Their service is pretty prompt- but polite and served with a smile.
The only downside is the limited seating during peak hours, and the lack of legroom when lining up/ dining- but their location only invites one to enjoy the view and other attractions in Barangaroo.
Their range or pastries, pies, and various breads are eye-catching and inviting. I definitely suggest coming here and giving their food a try. I’m yet to try their delicious cakes and tarts.
