I have come to Pepper Lunch multiple times and I love the food here. I like how they have improved their sauces, which are now even more delightful. There is a lot of toppings to choose from including mushrooms, kimchi.
Why I don’t even try this before?
They have good Wagyu beef of cuts serve on hot sizzling hot plate, when the marble of fat melted, smells amazing!
Served with rice and a bit of corn kernels,
I think it’s a really good value for money!
And for crunchy part, side of onion rings was a crowd pleasure.
The salted egg seafood also yummy!
Quite delicious, easy to pay - they offer digital ordering where you can use card or cash. The self sizzle/cook part of it may seem intimidating but they have easy to follow diagrams for reference on every table.BIG portions, solo dining will make you feel guilty for not finishing, so bring a friend with a big appetite if possible!
Their wild wagyu steak is legit. Just need to be careful not to leave the steak on the hot plate for too long. Good place to eat wagyu without breaking the bank.
Service is very efficient - I like the self ordering system and got my food pretty fast after placing the order. The ambience is bright and happy.
Always the top quality food. Though sometimes expensive the meat is good quality and you can cook it to your own taste. Be sure to add sauces to your rice!
Firstly, the service was quick and efficient which was a pleasant comparison to their Chatswood branch. Got the kimchi cheese beef rice - actually not that spicy and very cheesy tasty - and curry chicken - the curry didn't come separately and was hardly noticeable which made it quite bland. Overall not bad and quite affordable city food!
Strongly recommend the Classic Chicken/Beef Pepper Rice here! Add some extra cheese to make a better taste! The sweet source was nice! Must try

Been passed this place maybe a thousand times, here, Malaysia, Hong Kong etc and not once have I ever thought to try the food despite them always being busy. Well I think I just found myself a really good cheap eat with fast efficient service. Kicking myself didn’t walk in earlier
Have so far avoided the sizzling craze that is Pepper Lunch. The sizzling meal plate was one of the novelty of my childhood. Feeling a little low on the red meat intake lately, I got the wild Wagyu steak, which had the rice served on the side. A decent serving of meat for the price. It was good enough quality & texture, a little light on the seasoning, nothing a bit of the house "sweet" sauce can't fix.
It’s safe to say that i grew up eating pepper lunch! It has always been just as busy today, last year, 5 years ago or a even decade ago.
It has always been a place to fill ur belly with good quality food with the last remaining change u have left before you catch the train back home after a solid sesh of ddr at galaxy world
I love pepper lunch for the nostalgia just as much as the food
