In Sydney, with plenty of options, I visited this place two nights in the row.
So you can guess what I am thinking about it šš
Really like this Italian restaurant, cooking pasta right in front of you. The cooks are friendly and try to have small talk with you. Always get the carbonara with Mr T noodz. Big place plenty of seats. Only downside is if it is busy you have to wait a long time standing in line.
This is an interesting place. They have nice moody seating upstairs, and you go in person to order yourself, then they give you buzzers. Itās kinda like a mini food court. The pesto chicken pasta was average, but the truffle oil pizza was pretty great. They had a dinner deal that was a pizza + drink for $20, which is great vaue considering the truffle oil pizza costs >$20. Tables were kinda small and have these huge centrepieces in the middle, so itās kinda hard to fit the food in the middle if youāre sharing with a big group.
The restaurant is a nice space, huge on 2 levels , with cosy little pockets warmly lit. It's self service and it can take a while to get your order during lunch or dinner hours. However once you have ordered and have found your spot, you can really while away the time here, provided it is not peak hours. Staff is friendly. The pizzas are tasty enough but nothing extraordinary. Reasonable portion sizes for the price you pay. Suitable as a regular haunt if you work or live nearby.
Very busy during peak time, with long queues, but well organised.
It is divided in two levels and it has a nice atmosphere created by light on tables.
You can also find herbs and condiments on tables if you want to add basil, rosemary, etc. to your meal.
Pizzas were ok.
Cheesy goodness! Tried Vapianos Winter warmers menu featuring a hearty tomato soup with parmesan and croutons, wish they served the croutons on the side as if you don't eat fast enough the croutons go soggy! 4 cheese pizza and pasta was so so creamy and full of cheesy goodness. For fans of blue cheese you'll love it! Also for those that don't, there's enough slices of pizza without blue cheese sprinkled on. Virgin Pina colada and mojitos were refreshing and helped cleanse the palette for dessert. Their tiramisu isn't as authentic as I would have liked, very creamy but not enough biscuit to cream ratio!! Crunchie caramel cheesecake had great flavour and again would have loved more biscuit base! Overall a perfect winter meal!
A great place to pop in for a quick meal right in the city, main focus on pizza, pasta and salads. Decent pizza bases and all the pasta we had was cooked al dante. Friendly staff, plenty of seating and a good atmosphere make for an overall enjoyable experience.
....The first stop of the eveningās adventures was somewhere for dinner so we hit up Vapiano, which was selected by my friend. I was quite happy with Italian as I had a few drinks before and was wanting some carbs. Its a great spot as most food preferences can be covered and the food is pretty tasty. The only complexity is getting someone to save the table. Generally, if Iām with my partner as well one of us will grab the food while the other saves the table.
I didnāt capture any food pics, however, I decided it would be a good idea to take a picture of the rosemary and basil on the table, which I love picking off and adding to my dish....
My first time having pasta in ages and my first visit to Vapiano. The experience was great! The pasta is very tasty and a huge portion for the price. The staff are nice too, explaining things to me since itās my first time here. Didnāt need to wait long, and i really like the seats with little lights. Will definitely be back to try other flavours and pizza as well maybe!
Visited the place for dinner over the weekend. They have a decent seating arrangement with a variety of options. The service was a bit slow due to it being crowded but quality wasnāt compromised. They have a small collection of cocktails and mocktails to choose from as well.
