Love a cafe that still happily serves customers even when they’re obviously getting ready to shut shop. Especially appreciate when the espresso machine is still going when you need that late Saturday afternoon caffeine hit.
I ordered a vegan cake from raw passion for pickup at Espresso 96. However there were issues with the order and it did not come through on the day I went to pick it up. The staff/owner was super helpful and friendly, apologised on their behalf and helped me call them up when I didnt get through. I bought a vegan cake from there Instead as I needed a cake for the day, which was $5more expensive there but worth all their effort.

We are Concord locals and have tried all of the cafes on Majors Bay Road, which has quite a number. We've visited Espresso 96 many times and I'd have to say that it's our favourite cafe on the strip. We've only ever visited for breakfast but the lunch menu looks appealing as well.
The menu has lots of options and the servings are always generous. I particularly like the Dukkah poached eggs with halloumi, avocado, rocket and beetroot relish. The dishes are fresh and my eggs have always been cooked perfectly whenever I've ordered them. They also have good quality bread, and again the toast size is generous. The coffee (Toby's Estate) is always excellent, and they serve tea in large tea pots. I also think the dishes are good value given the quality of the food and the generous portions. I added smoked salmon to my eggs the other day and it was a huge portion. They don't mind if you make changes to the dishes.
The cafe staff are very welcoming and friendly. They are lovely with children. Speaking of which, baby chinos are free! They have good high chairs with trays so it's an easy dining option with small children.
I highly recommend this cafe. The menu has something for everyone and the staff go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. If you are in Concord, in my opinion, this cafe does the best food of all the breakfast options.
Great vibe and amazingly looking food!! Ordered the French Toast, Soul Bowl and Dukka Eggs which are all fab- favourite one is the french toast!
Came here for breakfast and the menu really sounds exciting. Most of the dishes are healthy and perfect for health conscious customers. They also sell burgers that I’m yet to try. Maybe next time.
On this particular visit I had their brioche French toast and paleo muesli. Wow! Both dishes really blew my mind. Not only looked gorgeous on the plates but tasted fresh and delicious. I can’t even pick my favourite as I love both dishes. Coffee is amazing too (Toby Estate).
On different note, their raw cakes from Raw Passion desserts look awesome and healthy but I was too full. Might try on my next visit.
Good location with plenty of outdoor seating. Went for brekky and decided to sit inside as it was a bit chilly. I ordered an acai bowl which disappointingly was NOT actually an acai bowl. It was more of a liquid smoothie consistency and I could not taste the acai at all, only other berries. On the menu it said it was topped with a crumbed raw bounty slice of which there were NO SIGNS of whatsoever. There were 4 nuts on top (i counted) but lots of fruit. Overall I was disappointed for $15.90 since I expected much more in front of me.
Nothing could go wrong with a toby's estate coffee, it's always good. My partner cleaned up his plate for the paleo bowl of muesli, nuts and fruits. I ordered for their soy and linseed toast and was good too.
Nice local lunch spot with decent sized servings and good customer service. Not over priced! Great for a weekday lunch or coffee break. One of the better cafes in Concord...
I came here after playing some sport and I'd have to say it really fixed me up. There homemade sodas are so tasty and creative and the omelette of the day I had was on of the best omelettes I have ever had! We got our food quickly and the staff were nice.
Great healthy,fresh food and drinks on offer. Thank you. What I find disturbing is questionable hygiene practices. This morning as I was waiting for my green juice I watched in amazement as the waiter transported the vegetables and fruit from the fridge to the blender with ungloved hands or the use of tongs. During the process he checked his phone whereby some of the vegetables/fruit fell from his hands on to the bench but he continued to put the contents into the blender. Did not want 'extra's' in my juice today. Is it a wonder we experience gastro episodes when staff forget that hygiene is of great importance. As this cafe prides itself on delicious nutritious food it would be appreciated if the staff were reminded of impeccable hygiene standards.
Our favourite regular Cafe in Concord. Friendly owner & waitresses, yummy food options including vegan treats & (most importantly) always great coffee. We love the outdoor seating area which kept us dry today on one of the wettest days of the year! We will see you tomorrow :)
Had the corn cakes with smoked salmon, avocado and poached egg, it was delicious! Crispy on the edges and packed full of corn. I hope it stays on the menu! Generous serving sizes, great place for breakfast or lunch, with an added bonus that it’s dog friendly.
Such great coffee and beautiful decor. I had the toasted vege sandwich that had a perfect sweet and savoury taste with the sweet potato crisps. Love this cafe
Plant based milk available. Coffee is satisfying and so are the Raw cakes!! Toilet available. Parking can be tricky as this is Major's Bay road. Street parking can be found but you just need to walk a few meters to the shops.
Love, love, love this place. One of the best all round breakfast lunch eateries I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. Could eat here everyday. Want to eat here everyday. Nothing I've had has disappointed me in anyway.
Tasty food, good location and quick/friendly service catering to the health conscious and the indulgent alike.
All day breakfast menu has a wide range of dishes allowing customisation. Lunch menu is also extensive with a range of delicious items. Coffee is always well-made and the range of juices and shakes are delicious and fresh. Range of protein shakes as well to accomodate the post-gym feed.
Service is pleasant and efficient. Toilets on site. Only knock against the venue was that some menu alterations were forgotten (extra hash brown not served).
Here for breakfast. Coffee was strong and come quickly. Had the pulled pork eggs Benedict and the French toast. Eggs Benny was great, perfectly poached eggs and nice hollandaise. French toast was nice but very sweet, yummy praline. Would definitely come back
