The cakes and sweets here are just amazing!
Got a box of five assorted pieces and loved every single one.
The coffee was also really good.
The prices are really good and the service was really good as well - all of the workers were really polite.
Would definitely recommend this place.

I wanted to go here as the space previous was a little eclair shop. This time it's been renovated and a new business called Francois. The owner previously had a pie shop in Rose Bay and has now opened a French cafe / Patissiere. it has a huge range of breads (baked in store) including some incredible looking brioche. There's also sweet treats, cakes, eclairs and slices. I got the apricot slice which was nice, crisp pastry, fresh glazed apricots and a great snack.

New French bakery in Bondi This new French bakery is a welcomed addition to Bondi that's located where La Maison de L'éclair used to be. There's plenty of tempting pastries and cakes on display to keep the locals happy plus breads, croissants and coffee using Mutch & Moore which I haven't seen before. Some limited seating inside and out and the staff were friendly and keen to please. My Cherry Danish ($4.50) was glistening with cherries and had a nice pastry. The Paris Brest ($6.95) filled with lots of cream. The Tarte au Citron ($6.50) which tempted me on their instagram was very nice. The Strawberry Tarte ($6.95) topped with a good amount of fresh strawberries was very yummy. There was a bit of a wait for my take away Cappuccino ($3.50) with a barista under pressure but hopefully will be able to turnaround coffees quicker in the future. The flavour and smoothness was quite nice and enjoyable.

Saw all the positive reviews about this place and decided to finally pay a visit. Friendly service and a great selection of Hungarian specialty cakes and breads. Got myself a slice of Flódni and Rigo Jancsi. Volt nagyon finom! Authentic and simply delicious. Will be back to try their ice cream, Dobos torta and Rétes (Strudel)!

Lovely local bakery. Got a hot cross bun and the poppyseed roll. Both were delicious and pretty cheap compared to other bakeries. The owner was very sweet and welcoming.

As good as home made. That's where you can get a lot of hungarian style goodies, the list is too long . I highly recommend to order a DOBOS for your next celebration!

A little slice of Austria-Hungary in Bondi This is a terrific family-run bakery specialising in Austro-Hungarian baked goods. Everything we tried was wonderful and had a homemade feel and quality to it. The strudel with a light crisp pastry and bursting with cherries was one of the best strudels we've ever eaten!

Brought these cakes for my Hungarian mother and German father to try and they loved them. Brought the Poppy seed roll , Poppy seed Danish, rum ball and Pyramid. Brought the Pyramid for my family and it was delicious.

My local. Been going for years and never disappointed. They do get busy time to time and can get absolutely hammered with orders, a testament to their amazing cakes and bagels. Always worth the wait in my book 💫💫💫
