Ordered crispy skinned salmon for takeaway.
Waited for about 12mins but it tasted sooooo good and fresh, will definitely come again.
Wish could have more veggie though....
Came here to buy a dish for takeaway. Quick and friendly service. The dish was crispy skinned salmon. Salmon was perfectly cooked and the whole dish tasted pretty good.
This is one of the first places I tried to get a decent cup of coffee and boy I have liked it ever since. While the cappuccino and flat white is great over here, my favourites here are Mocha and Italian hot chocolate. The HC is so glazy and indulging, it would be hard not to smile after that first sip. If you prefer a stronger dose for the day, Dirty Sicilian adds a shot of coffee to the Italian hot choc. The place usually runs special but revolves around the fresh produce. The fish is prepared really well and so is a simple fresh fruit salad. The place can seem pricey but is usually worth it. I have always liked having breakfast at the place. The Penne and Salmon are good too, but the only beef for me is the portion size which is questionable.
Vicolo is not a huge place, but decent enough for seating. The service is amazing and you can always see a queue early in morning till 10am. Worth to try the place just for a coffee.
Came here for an early breakfast before work... Liked the service and the hot chocolate was delicious! Also ordered the riccota and prosciutto brushetta and it was like having pizza for breakfast! Loved it!
Saw the line for takeaways out the door at this place so chose it to have breakfast during my stay in Sydney. My coffee didn't disappoint, and the fig sourdough toast spread with ricotta and honey was very tasty (and a combination I'll definitely start replicating for weekend brunches at home!) The funky industrial interior and friendly service topped it off - really good experience.
A lovely Italian cafe tucked away on Kent St, offering great ambience, super friendly service, and (apparently) great coffee.
Friendly and attentive service really adds up to the experience, even with something as simple as offering to take a photo when your friend is seen snapping shots of her beloved pasta 🍝
We had a staff recommend their iced coffees, where he explained that they're made shaken with ice rather as opposed to standard method. While it almost sounded like a cocktail and I was tempted, I unfortunately wasn't up for iced nor coffee - and instead went for a chai latte 😅 However I'm keen on coming back to try their iced coffee!
Great little gem fir a good coffee and a nice lunch! I got the chicken burger and the flavours were really good! I can't wait to go back! The staff are also so friendly!
Hidden gem!
Friendly staff, great atmosphere & delicious food. Good space to bring the team before work.
Coffee was good and service was quick.
Will definitely venture back!
My local haunt for customer meetings. When you see the queue out the door and the full tables, for such a small kitchen, it's a modern miracle how they consistently get my coffee and breakfast to me so quickly - they clearly understand how to keep their business patrons happy.
And goes without saying how good the coffee is. I tried the breakfast burger for something different today, loved it - gooey egg, crispy bacon, avocado, tomato and soft lightly toasted bun - how can you go wrong with that!
Great CBD casual lunch spot, and good coffee too. Not too casual for meetings either, suitable for a more relaxed meeting. Get the Porchetta Roll it's amazing.
Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, friendly and helpful service. Our meals were amazing and came out quickly. Definitely will be visiting again.
Good coffee, good food, and friendly service. These guys are one of my go to places for a morning or afternoon coffee. Had a sit down lunch here with colleagues yesterday. The service from your new employee (Irish guy, afraid I can't remember his name) was stellar! We really enjoyed the food as well.
I got a takeaway fettuccine carbonara for the first time recently and it was very good with the bonus for me being that I wasn't regretting my choice about halfway through because of the carbonara either being too creamy or the bacon overwhelming the dish. At $18 for a takeaway lunch in the city it's not a realistic everyday option for me but it was a nice once every couple weeks switch to my normal options.
Turned up before the official lunch hour, but it was no problem. Service was excellent, and the Gnocci Ragu (Lamb) just terrific.
Great breakfast - fantastic scrambled eggs on toast.

These guys do great coffee and delicious muffins. I haven't tried a lot of their food, but what I have tried was really good.
The staff are always friendly and remember my name and usual order.
They're often busy during peak coffee time, but no more than a couple minute wait. And if you want a table, I'd recommend booking ahead.
Staff are friendly and attentive. Coffee selection is excellent. Recommend the dirty Sicilian if you like mochas. Food is consistent and we'll cooked. Favourite is the crispy skin salmon. ($25) Could do with some sound baffling as it is very noisy and echos in almost all of the seats. Hard to hear over the kitchen dining sometimes.
Try the lemon ginger honey tea and anything on the daily special
