This is a brewery so let's talk about beer not food. This is simple, my rate is 5 stars because this is the best beer of Sydney. Just go and grab a few pints that's all. Sometimes they have food truck. The space and the decoration are great! If you like craft beer this is the place! IPA and stout are outstanding.
Awesome atmosphere! The open mic nights on Thursday’s are so fun and welcoming and generally so cool, would definitely recommend for anyone, a fun night out with friends.
I’ve never seen Staves beer in any bars but the brewery is easy to visit, just up from Broadway Shopping Centre. The bar is small but nice, with the upstairs performance room and the small beer garden, and the owner is very nice. The beer prices are ok and the beers are very traditional (unlike many craft breweries doing fruity brews). The pale ale is one of the best in Sydney.
Awesome little craft brewery, the beers are brewed on site and are some of the best in Sydney. Live music and performances often occur upstairs.
Staves Brewery is located down an unassuming side street next to Broadway Shopping Centre in Glebe. If you didn’t know that it was here you’d probably never stumble across it. It's all about quality craft beer here.

Are you a craft beer fan? If you are, then you’ll be happy to hear there’s a place you can enjoy amazing craft beer, right in the heart of Sydney. Situated in Glebe in a quaint laneway, it's an impressive two storey venue with a lovely beer garden at the back. The owner, Steve Drissell, a certified brewer, opened this fine establishment in October 2015.
Staves Brewery Glebe is a funny one, housed in a 2 storey building and tucked off round the main street where Broadway shopping centre sits. In our mind, its more broadway than Glebe. Very much like how Wayward Brewing sits somewhere between Annandale and Camperdown. We have a feeling that not many people know about the venue and yet, when we popped in for a visit, it was full. These crafty craft beer aficionados have their feelers out for the latest and greatest in Sydney.

Staves Brewery is truly one of Sydney's hidden little treasures. Located within an alley way on Grose Street, Glebe, it is the one stop shop for all your beef fantasies. Staves supports local breweries, their taps poor quality Australian beer, many right here from Sydney! The atmosphere is very chilled and the interior is charming.
The staff are chatty, friendly and beer service is super speedy. You can relax at the bar, or the beer garden and enjoy some live local music, while sipping on some true blue local craft beer. Brewing and serving quality beer is not just a passion, but a lifestyle for owner Steve, who's been brewing since the age of 16. So whether you're a serious beer enthusiast, or you just love a cold bevvy, Staves Brewery is the place to be!
