Amazing food and great staff
Fancyish Argentine cafe but the fancyish prices are justified by the nice fitout by the park and the great food. 5/5 for the food - really tender and tasty carne asado and strong rich coffee - but the service doesn't keep up. Very hard to get staff, they do things like run away after taking only one person's order, and they forget orders. This isn't even authentic South American slow service since the staff was German.
Ate lunch here June 2017. Staff were friendly from the moment we walked in. The food was very nice, full of flavour, and well priced. We liked the fact that customers were allowed to bring the dog with them.
Highly recommended.
Plenty of space for prams (good for mummies group). Coffee nice, really enjoyed the huevos la flamenco. Points lost for smoothie which was actually a milkshake in disguise. Friendly staff, tasty pastries & close to a great park.
Mi Mamasita is a relatively new Cafe licenced latin restaurant with BYO in Rosbery. The space is large open plan with indoor and outdoor seating with an indusrial feel, it could also have something to do with all of the building happening in the area the skyline is full of cranes.
The service is friendly and there are a number of interesting options on the menu and the coffee is nice. I stopped in for breakfast. There are a grab and go options such as muffins croissants, bacon and egg rolls. For something more substantial there are a number of egg based dishes. I went with the Huevos la flamenca a rich tomato base with Jamon Serrano, chorizo, two poached eggs and toasted house bread. An enjoyable breakfast, will have to return to sample more of the menu.
Mi Mamasita has a beautiful and welcoming decor! I'm guessing that it's fairly new, set at the bottom of a new apartment block in Rosebery with a nice view of the park. The food was nice, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. I must say I was a bit disappointed that their patisserie/dessert selection was very limited, with advertised items not available. Overall a pleasant experience!
Really cool authentic Spanish food and nice cafe pastries etc. great addition to the booming area.
Very funky fitout with a range of Spanish produce on display. Friendly staff were welcoming.
We will be back!
Had a quick lunch at this new establishment and really liked it. its very attractive as far as the furniture and the fit out, all open plan and wooden furniture, so thumbs up for design. We had a couple of burgers, coffees and homemade sweets- all great hearty meals and good value for money too. Looking forward to the place being opened for dinners, as there aren't many lovely but reasonably priced places around in the area as of yet. 👍
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Mi Mamasita during their opening week. The fit out is lovely - we particularly liked the unique wooden table tops. The food was delicious too. There were lots of friendly staff members buzzing around yet orders were taken at the counter. That style of service didn't really tie in with the look and feel and ambiance of the restaurant as a whole so I do hope that they considering taking orders at the table in future. Apart from that we had a great time and this is an excellent new addition to the neighbourhood.
This place was pretty tasty and very decently priced. The chicken baguette was so tasty and bread was nice and crisp. The beef asada was great as well however the ribs were pretty dry. The potatoes though was cooked deliciously. The chicken on the piri piri chicken salad was very well seasoned and moist! Overall would good come again!
Lovely welcoming staff. Came in for coffee and breakfast and it was perfect. Extensive list of all day breaky with a Spanish fusion. Not busy on a Friday morning and plenty of space.
Was waiting for my car to be serviced and they let me stay here after eating. Worth the stop.
A light and airy atmosphere with parkside views coupled with unique Latino fusion food and decent coffee made for a lovely way to start the weekend. Friendly staff, generously sized portions and an extensive menu. Somewhat slow service is my only complaint holding it back from 5 stars.
This is a Spanish style cafe in Rosebery. Plenty of easy and free street parking doorsteps. Staffs are nice and friendly. Service is good.
Lunch and breakfast dishes are generally delicious. But there are rooms for improvement with the coffee.
The Spanish poached eggs with chorizo and tomato is complemented with generously buttered sour dough. I ordered a soy mocha and both the milk and chocolate to coffee ratio was on point, served in a charcoal ombre cup that makes the colours pop. The venue has floor to ceiling glass yet somehow strikes a balance between the cozyness you might expect at a smaller cafe. The vegetarian options are towards the limited side but they get points for having a specifically noted vegan adaptable dish. Fully accessible toilets near by is a plus.
Lovely food and many options, Spanish tasting breakfast dishes. Variety or milks, dog facilities. Very slow service minus a star.
A spanish style restaurant runs from early morning until late time. Good taste of coffee and breakfast would satisfy you.
