Love their vegan burgers, they are really delicious. The sweet potatoes fries also. On Wednesday the burgers are only $10 instead of $15. They have a lot of deals like this one on different days of the week. I will definitely go again. The staff is friendly. Pancakes are good. I also like their milkshakes a lot (if you like coconut as they use coconut ice cream)
The coffee is really good. The food is incredible! Amazing vegan cafe, who offers great food, and Covid safe (no overcrowded and tables are well distanced). We had pancakes, burgers and the Big brekky... all was delicious!!
We will be back for sure!

Really yummy oat milk hot chocolate and double stack blueberry pancakes with coconut yogurt, coconut flakes and maple syrup. All vegan too and really filling. 💚 Staff are so friendly and such a lovely cafe. Highly recommend whether you’re a vegan or not!

Great place to get super thick delicious pancakes. Loads of options especially if vegetarian or even vegan 👌🏽👌🏽 Both savoury and sweet options. Other options than pancakes are also available but what's the point?
"Make your own pancakes" is available too, as well as macros (to calculate yourself tho, not extremely acurate but definitely a ✔✔ for macro trackers like me)
I recently moved into the area and I'm excited to have Hale & Hearty as my local. Whether you're vegan or not, the food is awesome and service always friendly. A common misconception people have is eating a vegan diet is restrictive...I tell them to go visit Hale & Hearty Waterloo and let me know!

Fantastic delicious foods - we ordered mushroom on sourdough (absolutely delicious!), their famous GF pancake with salted caramel (love it! the sweetness level is just right) and the deluxe cheese burger.
There are SO many more choices on the menu - we will definitely be back next week to try them!
Delicious food at this cafe, perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The speciality is obviously pancakes, with lots of interesting options. There’s also plenty of savoury dishes, all plant based alongside shakes and smoothies. Highly recommended!

We visited once about a year ago and we wouldnt really impressed as we are vegans and we really care about a healthy food options.
BUT we visited this sunday as we found out about your transition and we TOTALLY FALL IN LOVE with your place, food was just amazing and service was great as well.
