I had the beetroot toast w boiled eggs and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Simple and delicious, good portion and flavours were balanced. Service was fine, food came out quickly - cute space.
5th Earl “baked eggs” is hands down the best shakshuka I’ve ever had. It is a lamb shakshuka that is cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. Portion size was perfect. They give a generous serving of sourdough (4 slices, unlike most other cafes that only give 1-2 slices).
The cafe itself is good for larger groups or small catchups with outdoor and indoor seating. Nil issues with Service.
Love! Super cosy cafe (great in winter), friendly staff and delicious food.
The toast was 👌🏼 (I love it when it’s actually a bit bread-y and not toasted to the nth degree)
Coffee was made well and the food came out quickly.
Would 100% return!
Took my mum here for a birthday brunch and we shared the big breakfast and blueberry pancakes. Food was lovely and staff were polite. It was only towards the end of the meal where we found that it was a bit difficult to get the staff’s attention even though it was not as busy anymore.
Came here for lunch. Fish tacos was amazing ⭐️smoked salmon scrambled egg and avo on brioche, poke bowl and their special Reuben Benedict were also amazing. Didn’t managed to take any photos as we were too hungry and the food looked too appetizing. Price could be just a little lower if not I would have rated 5 stars. All in all still one of the better brunch spots in sydney. New favorite brunch spot👍🏻

5th Earl is a spacious cafe in The Cannery complex, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Regardless, be prepared to queue on the weekends. I had the beetroot and goats cheese smash on toast. This came with a perfectly poached egg and a jalapeno tequila relish which went well with an added side of smoked salmon. The lamb baked eggs was was a very rich dish - two eggs and a whole lot of shredded lamb meat will keep you full long after dinner time. The prawn linguine also got the thumbs up but the rosti special was deemed to be very average. I enjoyed my skim cappuccino and my friend's chai tea was made with freshly brewed leaves. Overall, a rockin' brunch cafe with good food and friendly service.
Found another cafe that I really like with both indoor and outdoor/balcony area. The dishes doesn’t sound overly fancy on the menu but boy when it arrived, they were delicious! Both the toastie and French toast I would happily order again next time I’m back.
Met a friend here for coffee and breakfast. I'm not a huge fan of Toby's Estate coffee but theirs was made well and was enjoyable. We ordered the brioche French toast which was nice, served with beautiful fresh berries. The pancakes on the other hand were dry, I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh berries and ricotta it came with though. Overall great presentation, good portions and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place. It's also very cosy and the service is attentive.
A very busy cafe. Very good food, matched with friendly service. Great atmosphere inside, a bit crowded but rather crowd than empty chairs right?
We have only been here once, we have heard great things so we thought we would go check it out. It was jam packed with all sorts of people ranging from different age groups.
The chairs here, I must say were fabulous. I think they were velvet, very royal like chairs, big and soft - very comfortable.
We tried the lamb sandwich, which was juicy and delicious. It was sooo big we had to take away half of it. We also tried the zucchini and prawn pasta which didn’t disappoint.
We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.
Good vibes and ambiance, friendly and attentive service. Outdoor seating area is very comfortable and relaxing. Their coffee ( Toby’s Estate) is not my favourite but barista made the best of it! Food wise, I had green bowl; it was hearty, had a nice dressing, but I find it that it was a bit pricey for what it is as it simply didn’t have any creative or wow factor flavour! Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed every bit of it, but could have costed a bit less. My friend enjoyed his burger and chips as well, though same story about pricing applies to that dish too apparently! Overall simple, satisfying good food and great service!
