Chicken fried rice with salty fish + sarawak noodles

Place smells like armpits when you just walk in. No ambience however the food itself is reasonably priced pretty tasty. A million times better than Papa rich taste & variety-wise. I do recommend this place!

We had the fish head curry, bi huong goreng, spicy pipis and belacan kang kong. Food was really good! Portions were big so be prepared.

If you want service attention don't be afraid to flag someone down, you'll need to do it when you're ready to order etc... Don't expect them to come to keep asking you.

Place is very busy all week and for good reason, I highly recommend coming in with more people, you'll have a great time sharing big dishes together.

Good quality Malaysian food at an affordable price and also good service. We ordered the Mongolian style spare pork ribs, garlic kang kong, curry chicken nasi lemak and also sago dessert. Will definitely be back.

This place has good, satisfying Malaysian food and I personally think is better than Albee's up on the other side of Campsie :P Been here a couple of times and have ordered a variety of dishes and they are all done pretty well. The cheap pricing for good food also makes it a winner ! I've had their cereal king prawns, hor fun, fish head noodle soup, hainanese chicken, salt n pepper squid, sweet n sour pork and a variety of their sambal vegetable dishes. It might not be the best you've ever had but it's a nice casual restaurant for some yummy food :)

Came here for lunch on Saturday. We came here just before noon therefore the restaurant was not busy and we were served pretty quickly. Ordered wa tan hor, Hokkien fried noodle and iced Milo. Both wa tan hor and Hokkien noodle were tasty and pretty similar to those that I used to have in Malaysia. However I think that the Hokkien noodle was a bit runny, I prefer it to be more sticky/with more black sauce. There're chicken, fish cakes, squid and veg in the noodle. No prawns eventho there're prawns in the photos on their wall. Price wise, it's cheap, cheaper than other restaurants with decent portion. Would go back to try out other menus.

5 of us vs 7 dishes !
I would say very satisfying dishes.
As a starter we ordered the herbal tea... very refreshing and not too sweet .

First dish came, bean curd with mixed vegetables in hot pot! I heard they made their own tofu and quick flash fried. Tofu is very soft and delicate.

Second dish: balacan kangkung... water spinach cooked with fermented shrimp paste! Everyone likes it and no body complaining.

Third: Bihun Goreng or stir fried vermicelli.
Nothing special but very enjoyable dish over all.

Fourth: Cinta Rasa Crispy Fish.
Nice fish, fried and served crispy, sauce to go with this dish also yummy.

Fifth: pork spare Ribs King.
Spare ribs, served with sesame and Linda ala king sauce, similar kind of sweet and sour sauce.

Sixth: Spicy fried Pipies.
Can't stop digging on the bowl looking for this beauty. Sauce is very delish.

Last one: Beef Rendang!
This was the worst dish over all.
Rendang is not what I expected. Sauce a little runny like Soup. How? I don't know, it doesn't resemble alike Malaysian rendang that I know. Worst rendang dish ever!
Despite of that, the meat was nicely braised for long time, just soft and fall apart.
This was the reason I don't give full point on my review.

I had heard a fair bit about this place so went for a random lunch there.
I got a Laksa and it was exceptionally good!! Flavor was incredible and so were the pieces of noodles, seafood & prawns.
Service was quick, ambiance is not great but that's really the only lost half point. I will be going back for sure.

Always busy and always deliciously enjoyable... Sambal need to ask again again, since can only get small serving. Service is always friendly and wonderful. Food is fresh and addictive if Malaysian dishes are your favourite. The pork knuckle is so big... And tasty...

We travel 45mins to get to here as my friend rave about this place. When we got there it's was pack n it was worth a wait even though we book before hand. Definitely worth the travel. Food was great especially Yam basket n homemade tofu hotpot. Would come back again to share it to other friends n try out other dishes

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. VERY AUTHENTIC! Every dish I've had so far reminds me of Malaysia, especially those road side eats. My absolute favourite is the yam basket with Marmite chicken. Minus 1 star as their desserts aren't as good. The chendol and sago was very watery and didn't have enough flavour.

The place’s busy around dinner hours. Need to make reservation if you wanna dine in and have your food served quick. Enjoyed the food here especially Mongolian pork. Char kuey teow’s average. Will come back to try more dishes though.

Good value, tasty and varied Malaysian food. Went for lunch and ordered a variety of dishes. All were tasty. The taro nest with pork is delicious, as are the buttered prawns. Very good char kuey tiao, chicken rice and achar pickle. It's not a fancy place at all but service is adequate and the food is yummy (and excellent value).

I was craving for laksa. Came here for the excellent laksa soup. The sambal was excellent too. I tried the combination laksa. Others had hainan chicken laksa and hainan chicken kolo mee. Excellent dishes!

Ordered takeaway and couldn't fault any of the dishes. Great flavour and good sized dishes. Must try yam bowl with kung pao chicken, sambal squid, spicy pipis, belachan kang kong and salt and pepper pork ribs. Highly recommend!
