A lively bar with a great atmosphere and different rooms to hang out in. I liked that there was a pool table, booths to sit in, and a DJ upstairs. Drinks are reasonably priced with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Bourbon and coke, vodka lemonade and lemon lime bitters were my drinks of the night.

The Clock is a lovely place to go to catch up with friends. Many spots on different levels to go and if you're lucky you could have the whole area to yourselves which we had (the courtyard) and it was so nice. Tons of vegan options which were all pretty good and a good selection of wine with clearly labelled vegan ones too.
Came for afternoon drinks with hubby and my favourite daughter.
People sitting outside in the Autumn sun, and even more on the balcony but was surprised when we entered into the front sports bar that it was quiet and very chill inside.
A function was going in The Courtyard, so we found a quiet spot in The Whiskey Bar.
I really want to come back to taste the food.
So many nooks and crannies to explore! You can be in the middle of the hubbub or find in a quiet area. A spot for everyone in this iconic pub.
Will definitely be back!
Every city has a bar that every tourist or expat must go / students who are just starting to explore the bar scene love to go / residents can’t help but re-visit from time to time, and this is that spot for Sydney. Drinks are pretty standard here but it occupies a really eye-catching Victorian style building right in the heart of Surry Hills. Each floor has a different vibe and therefore good for a wide range of events including: casual drinks, birthday parties, touristy ventures, and pregames (though it’s on the pricier side). Its Saturday night is packed with people catching all types of sports games, with each group looking at a different screen that are all pretty much meaningless to someone not familiar with Australian sports. Even though it’s pretty busy the service is great (especially on the second floor where there are less people). Will recommend if you are in the area or visiting Sydney!
Came here on a Thursday night during happy hr. Great place to try for happy hr drinks. $5 for a craft beer, can't complain at all. Should have tried the food but left it for the next visit. A good venue for work do at those prices.
The Beer battered flathead is pretty good and I find it a little bit more pricier than other places, but this place is a bit of an icon on Crown Street so you get what you pay for. The pool tables, outdoor balcony looking over the hustle and bustle of the street really make for a good night and are the drawcard for a group gathering in my opinion!
The Sunday roast on special (25$ with a beer) was pretty good. Not expected for this kind of pub. Good meat with carrots and Zucchini. Pretty crowded alk the time of the day and night. Famous in Surry Hills . Good pub to hang out with friends.
Nice pub with great food. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. However, Friday evenings and nights are filled with the type of crowd your priest or mom warned you about. The crowd was noisy, horny and drunk - something that would remind you of a Kings Cross type bar. People are pushing and shoving, not forming a queue and simply obnoxious. If it works for you, well and good.
Here is a pub that has absolutely everything. Ensure that you explore every book and cranny when you visit, I kept finding more and more. The bar downstairs is great for sport, whilst the balcony upstairs is a nice way to relax. Don't forget there's also the beer garden, a great little pool room, then there's also the whiskey room, which is extremely popular too. The night I went for dinner I sampled the scott fillet which was cooked to my liking, beautiful pizzas also await. I wish this pub was my local!
I went here with one of my friends to grab a quick lunch and drinks, we went inside and was amazed that they have a beautiful garden in the center. There were plenty of spots actually, different area, there's billiards on the side, garden in the middle, quiet little corners were you can even maybe read book etc. It was very relaxing and their pizza was great! Loved it. Nice place to hang out with group of friends or colleagues. So jealous of the people who work near Surry Hills! :<
Just loved he ambiance in here.
Service was okay, I will still come back here, best with friends! :D
