It’s not a fancy restaurant but my family was grateful the Arch was open on Christmas Eve with generous portions, great customer service and my nephew was impressed with the vanilla ice cream.
How does this place have such a low rating. The Latina service staff today was very nice, it's one of the few kitchens in the area that stay open between 3 to 5, the sirloin steak with chips ($19.90), though a touch too salty was well cooked and the prawn linguine packed with massive tigers around the $19, just season to taste with the cracked pepper and salt they leave at the table! And if you're Italian, adjust your expectations - supplies are expensive and their lunch pasta specials for $10 are built on value not pretentiousness. I love it it satisfies a need! A great setting and meal all round. Highly recommend for a quick lunch or casual catchup.

We used Groupon and had Awesome and hearty big breakfasts. The food is basic but well cooked and the prices are really great. Staff were very friendly and food and service was quick.

The arch is an average breakfast place. The salmon eggs benedict was a generous portion but needed more hollandaise sauce. The big breakfast was oily. But the orange juice was excellent as it was freshly squeezed.
We went for lunch, not crowded. Very cheap and lots of food. I couldn't believe how much chicken I got.

The chicken was well marinated and seasoned. Well balanced with the salty halloumi and the sour balsamic vinegar.
The bread in the mushroom halloumi dish was toasted too long, but otherwise it was a very good experience.
Great cafe with amazing food that is reasonably priced for the city. Also, conveniently, most of it is available for take away. I have only been their twice so far but I know I will go there much more often now that I have. I really love the Arch!!

Staff is great and very helpful too. The "barista" told me about the Wifi so I am now sitting at the café sipping my double espresso and doing some work!

Perfect french toast with banana, bacon and maple syrup. And the coffee was spot on. Mild not strong or bitter.
Clean, fast service, friendly and not expensive.
Really great value for money! Would highly recommend their fresh juices and their vegetarian breakfast was amazing. Friendly service too!
Lived in Darlo for over a year. This is the only place I will get my coffee from. (Long black- so can't speak for the milk). Strong, never bitter, not boiling hot, what more could you want. Everywhere else on Stanley St is relatively clueless by comparison.

Good price, $10 lunch pasta special is a huge serving, it's delicious and prepared quickly. Definitely reccomnded for a good cheap eat
