Accessible and easy to get to both by public transport and car. The service friendly, attentive and inviting. We ordered the lamb shoulder (with pita bread and tzatziki) which was melt in your mouth tender and bursting with flavour. The seafood mezze board came with a few fillets of barramundi (battered and fried) that was seasoned and cooked to perfection (crispy shelled and an explosion of flavour around the delicate flakes of Barra with each bite... definitely my favourite part). The calamari also tender and full of flavour. The spanakopita in the side was flaky with a perfect combination of crunch encasing the cheesy spinachy goodness inside. I did find myself lathering it with taramasalata and a few cubes of pickles to add a bit of contrast. A side order of chips with feta and oregano added some crunchy potato goodness to the mix . Capping it all off with an order of honey loukoumades and we left well fed and satisfied. Definite go to if you cross paths with one of the many locations.
Amazing! The BEST restaurant I have EVER been to! Treated myself for my 47th birthday and the gorgeous, kind waitress treated me like a Goddess! Food was wonderful, fresh and made with love, an essential ingredient! Lovely atmosphere and very neat. I felt really special and the waitress even wrote me a note on Greek paper, which said "Happy Birthday From Zeus!" :D
The spartan pack offered a decent range of variety and was most popular amongst my group of 7. Seating was a little bit challenging during the lunch time surge but they managed to get all our meals out at roughly the same time which is commendable.
I had the calamari with the Zeus slaw, Greek salad and smoky eggplant dip. Overall a good experience.

The launch of their new menu offers a variety of traditional meals, perfect for sharing, so gather your friends and family and dine on a Zeus feast. Top picks: saganaki; meze board; meats from the spit; zucchini chips; gigantes and calamari.

Looks it’s good Greek street food but is it worth what you pay ?, that’s the dilemma. The vibe in this place is great with nice setup and a welcoming staff that make sure you love your visit
Zeus Street Greek in Surry Hills is a short trek from Central Station that serves up the Greek version of Subway footlongs - pita bread filled with grilled (or fried) meats, veges and sauce. If you're feeling hungry, you can upgrade to their Spartan boxes, which contain a choice of meat, two sides and a sauce.
I personally prefer their pork neck pitas (either their classic Tzimmy or Apollo) and their loukoumades (Greek doughnuts drizzled with honey + cinnamon sugar, or Nutella) are to die for.
There is ample seating indoors and there is a self-serve water bar against the (in)side wall.

Zeus Street Greek is a chain store that is famous for its delicious and hearty Greek foods. I have always loved this place and there are a few new menu items so I decided to check out their Surry Hills store one day for a casual lunch. We ordered a few dishes to share. The first was the Tzimmy lamb classic pita with lamb, tomato, chips, tzatziki, onion and paprika. I loved the idea of chips in a pita and this was delicious, the lamb was roasted to perfection and the paprika added a nice flavour.
Funky restaurant with fabulous Greek Street food options. The pitas were huge and very filling, loved the zucchini falafel flavour. The hot chips with feta cheese were my favourite and the Nutella loukoumades were insanely good. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service!
I had TZIMMY CHWCKEN and GINGER BEER for lunch. These were nice n delicious. I love it. The food was big enough for me. The shop is nice n clean. The stuff are friendly. I will be here soon.

I finally gave the deep fried Mac n cheese Halloumi balls and found they were on the salty side. Like... SUPER SALTY. Despite that, I'd still try more from Zeus st Greek and it wasn't a bad first experience eating there
