Great atmosphere; very friendly staff. Amazing selection of salads, pasta, sandwich, juices, and Acai drinks. They also do DYO meal, where you can customise your meal. Overall good value for money.
Salad bar had a long queue for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, they do a lot of take away orders. However, I found the small seating area quite cute with old table and chairs. They have a lot going on here, from salads to pastas and coffee. This place is vegan and vegetarian friendly more importantly pocket friendly.
The staff behind the counter are so happy and friendly it really turns something as mundane as ordering lunch into a pleasant affair. And they really know how to cater to the lunchtime crowd. My tuna Niçoise salad appeared just moments after I seated myself at a table after ordering at the counter. Super efficient and perfect for those in a hurry, which is pretty much every city worker wanting to make the most of their precious lunchtime.
They offer a good range of salads, wraps and other savouries like filo pastries, lasagna and quiche.
Salad Bar is worth seeking out for a quick, delicious, great value lunch. And you will need to look for it because at my time of visit it was hidden from street view behind construction hoarding.
