They make the best grilled fish ever, gluten-free. Super greek salad and tasty fries. Friendly and kind service; they remember what you ordered last time. Maybe some more seating on sidewalk?
It is hard to find a fish and chip shop around Sydney that's like the one's that remind me of my childhood. Old school, unpretentious and plain to look at.
Alexandria Seafood is exactly the ticket. I had the Fisherman's Basket, which was one piece of battered fish, chips and tartare. I added a potato scallop. The fish and scallop were golden and crunchy on the outside, and not too greasy. The fish, white and moist. Great serving size of chips. Such a satisfying and value for money meal.
