Tandoori Hut in Sydney is a good restaurant where we had dinner.
We ordered
*dal makhani
*jeera aloo
*malai kofta
*chana masala
*garlic naan
*tandoori roti
*biryani
The taste was average but the staff is humble enough to serve you at their best.
This place is all able to food. Service can be slow but I don’t care cause the food is worth the wait. Extremely authentic and it’s open late when you too soak up the lemonades. Can’t beat the tandoori and naan This might be my favourite Indian or Pakistani restaurant ever. Can’t wait to go back.
Come for the rich authentic Pakistani food. Thick samosas with great vegetable filling, rich and spicy curries (like a really stewy palak paneer), great bread. The $10-$15 curries are not particularly big but are enough when having sides as well (we spent $51 for two in total including lassis). The rest of the restaurant can be a bit too authentic though. A little dirty, especially out back as you'll see on the labyrinthine walk to the toilet (you might even see the massive resident rat), and they tend to leave dirty plates on the table until a new person needs to use the table, and the service can be very slow.
