The take away coffee was even cheaper than the one in Usyd. A really cool cafe with bikes on the wall, interesting. The coffee was just average, but in a moderate temperature compared with the other cafes.

This is a great spot for locals to grab a bite to eat with excellent coffee and if you happen to own a bike, want a bike, or just like looking at bikes, this place has it all. I'm definitely coming back for the 2 Eggs & Bacon Sandwich on Turkish.

5 Stars !

Really cute little cafe hidden in Redfern. Love the theme and the decor. The coffee is great too! Would love to go back and try their breakfast menu.

Nice place on the corner. Get your bike fixed while having your breakfast. Rent a bike for a day, week, or weekend. The smell of cheese was incredibly strong when I went there, and that's not something I fancy, but my friend was in gooey heaven. The food isn't half bad! A nice find as we were in the area in desperate need for food and that usually leads to some pretty terrible food choices, but this one was great!

On my first visit I'm keen to try the Ei, Salmon + Hass ($13.50) - a sensational Dutch version of baked eggs that is super cheesy, a little salty from the salmon and super tasty. The owners are not Dutch but they've spent some time living over there and I'm glad they've brought this delicious dish to our fair shores as it really is something different.

The Dutch breakfast is a blistering hot serve of baked cheesy egg mixed through with surprise pockets of free range ham. It's fluffy, salty and rich, reminding me of a cheesy frittata or a double-baked souffle. An alternative version with smoked salmon is also available. Two thick slices of toast slathered with butter will tide you over until dinner.

Pun Intended.. What a great idea! For: locals wanting food, coffee or a helping hand with their push bike, for wandering UTS/Sydney Uni students, for people wandering the 'hood between Redfern Station and/or The Block going towards UTS, Central Station,The White Rabbit Gallery. And of course anyone in need of a new Town Bike!

Council Sponsored bike mechanic attended workshop alongside for advice, tool sharing or serious help. He's a very knowledgeable and helpful man.
Great food, excellent ambiance, charming staff and drinks galore. Inspired by living in Amsterdam, the owners have stripped an old butcher shop back to the white tiles, with original mural of farm beasties and added funky cafe features.

Really cheap and laid back place. If you like bikes or need repairs - it's a great place to go. The staff are super friendly. I've only ever really had coffee there but I like it. Lots of places to sit around and read from. The location is quite nice too. They do a lot of dutch style food and a lot of regulars go there. Good selection of newspapers to read.

First place I've found that offers Dutch breakkie! The food and coffee is great, the atmosphere relaxed. You can either sit inside at the window or in front of the cafe which is located on Abercrombie Street, the side where there isn't any heavy traffic. I love the combination of a cafe with a bike shop where you can not only buy good quality city bikes but also get yours repaired. You can even service your bike yourself or at least blow some fresh air in your tires.

I've taken my Apollo bike in to be repaired and serviced many times now, and am always greeted with a friendly and warm attitude. Their prices are reasonable, they get the job done quickly, and to a very high quality. (These guys are passionate about bikes). The food and coffee is also great so visiting Town Bike is always an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend them. Pav. St Ives

This place rules! Good toasties and excellent service by the lovely folk that work there. This includes the bike guy- He knows his stuff when it comes to sorting out your bike. Highly recommended for low key hangs at a relaxed cafe in Redfern
