We had the best time at dinner that i think I've ever had! Our server was adorable and full of personality. Attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable.
Food is delicious. Great value compared to other places around in Sydney.

First time to Sydney, and had no idea where to visit for my dinner, though I have learned from the Internet that Australia is famous for stake. I did not choose Saint George because I knew it, but because it was located simply near my hotel - however, it was just amazing! The attached menu was recommended, and it was (let me repeat please) just amazing! Please try it. You should definitely try it once visiting Sydney. Thank you.
My husband and I came to check this place out for dinner with the 50% fork special and we were pleasantly surprised.
Service was friendly and the food we ordered was all good. We shared the pea, lemon and smoked ricotta croquette, chicken parfait, citrus cured salmon with skin cracker. They were the highlights of our dinner, the wagyu shin, broccoli and crinkle cut chips were next but the beef could have been more tender. We had a couple of glasses of wines and left before the restaurant got busy and noisy.

Really enjoyed the chicken liver pate, pretty big portion considering we ran out of bread.
The pea croquettes were crunchy outside and fluffy inside.
Wonder if the scallops would have tasted nicer if not fried? Not sure but overall it was all tasty.
Did not like the squid ink gnocchi, it was really mushy and didn't have much flavour to it. The fried sword fish was decent though.
The risotto was interesting, not like your traditional fish. Was loaded with veggies, dense and heavy. Not to say that's bad or anything, flavours were good, just too heavy for us to finish.
Broccoli and fried chips are standards like sides normally are.
Wagyu beef tasted like a stew, wish I had some rice to go with it.

Only thing I wish they had, were coat and bag hangers. Was a little awkward sitting at the long wooden table resting bag and jacket on lap while eating. Otherwise I can't wait for my next visit!
I like anything that makes a city more beautiful. And for some reason, this tiny strip of Chippendale between Railway Square and the Central Park shopping complex is particularly ugly. Inexpensive restaurants and a few pubs in the next block (and the incongruous Posh Hotel, which looks anything but) and cheap Asian food and a McDonalds on the other side of the street.
Popped in for lunch on a weekend, didn’t realise only the brunch menu is available which was a shame because we were looking forward to some oysters and the truffle creme brûlée, however, we still had a great time. The double cheeseburger was really good, would order again. Hubs got the crumbed dory which he enjoyed. Great cocktails were had, and coffee
Mix feeling about this place, nothing was particularly bad, but just didn't seem to hit the high I was expecting. Was very excited beforehand to see all the positive reviews. Reasonable range on the menu, but pretty Mod-Aus based with some interesting combos. Dishes mostly designed for sharing. The croquettes were nice way to start the meal, a little pricey at $5 for a bite. Then the witlof, chicken liver parfait & spanner crab pappardelle were really not what I was expecting, they tasted alright. The parfait was rather sweet, there was hardly any crab in the pappardelle (it should be renamed sweetcorn pappardelle with hint of crab). The desserts followed the trend too with the choc combo being the best of them. Service was average at time, tried to get attention of service to get additional cutleries to divide the shared food went astray, we ended up just raiding their cutlery draws ourselves.
What a find! We had a delicious, easy lunch here - salmon salad and vege toastie. Staff are knowledgeable and efficient and drinks list is interesting and extensive. We will be back for their killer happy hour and dinner - finally an eatery in the area that ticks all the boxes!
Stopped by for a wine after work with a few friends & ended up staying for dinner. The food was so good we ordered everything twice!! We will be back soon to try the rest of the menu and explore the wine list. Thanks for a great night.
Very delicious ! Our favourite is the pork with the cherry glaze sauce on top. The pork was so tender and very tasty. We had two entrees, twos mains with two sides and at the end we were very full!
Service was great and the restaurant is very reasonably price. Will definitely come back !

The menu comes from hatted and Michelin star credited Chef James Metcalfe, the menu featuring seafood and protein based dishes as well as vegetarian offerings. We took advantage of a first table 50% off offer, and visited with friends, which meant we ordered quite a number of dishes to get a good sample of the menu.
Beginning with the Leek and Parmesan croquettes, a crispy outer shell and tasty filling, as well as the well seasoned beef tartare and the smoked egg emulsion, which offered a creative spin on this dish.
A highlight was the chicken liver parfait which had a nice flavour enhanced by the Pedro Ximenez and served with toast. Simple but quality ingredients.
The salad of golden beets was a pretty dish, with the creamy burrata topped with pickled peach and shiso and pine nut dressing.
The cured kingfish with mango and miso emulsion, green papaya, and Asian herbs was refreshing but could have done with some citrus.
The pan fried potato gnocchi looked beautiful, with house whipped ricotta, pea purée, radish, and chervil butter and was a good vegetarian option. It was lovely but the flavours needed a bit more punch.
For the main, we shared the 12 hour Milly Hill Lamb Shoulder, which was nice and tender since the 12 hours enhances the flavours of the lamb, accompanied by fried zucchini flowers, capers and lemon dressing.
All in all it was a good dining experience, the food is good, the space is comfortable and the service attentive.
Great food and attentive service. Salads were generously portioned and tasty. The steak was fabulous. Desserts were nice but ordinary, so feel free to give them a pass.
My friend and I went this restaurant for lunch and we both loved the food! Generous portions! However, I wish there were more vegetarian options as there is only one main for vegetarian which is the pasta I had.
All Staff are lovely and attentive. The location is perfect as it’s just next to Central station!
I will come back to try breakfast next time :)

Really good food, quality ingredients, treated with respect and cooked to perfection.
A smallish but interesting wine list, classic cocktails and a few house specials.
Desserts were good but didn’t match the quality of the entrees and mains courses.
Reasonably priced and a good atmosphere watching the world rush by along George st!
Had been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. Perfect lighting and ambience for a restaurant, and staff were incredible. Lucas made our night with his attentiveness and smile. Happy hour til 7pm with a great selection of good quality Prosecco and wines. We had oysters to start and they were so fresh they just melted in your mouth. The mains were pretty good. We chose the caramelised chicken and flank steak. I'd never had flank steak and it was bit overcooked and tough for me. The sauces and accoutrements it was served it were lovely though. You could tell the kitchen took pride in each dish.
Great place to have a quick bite or a drink or 2. I have to agree with another reviewer, the parfait was 👌🏼👌🏼. Easily accessible & have individual tables or share tables with stools.
Service was a bit touch & go & the waiter kept on topping up our waters with still water when we had sparkling, so they had to keep replacing it, hence the 4 stars.
Apart from that, this place seems promising.
Had dinner here Saturdat night before the movies and we were very impressed. The food is interesting and delicious, the service is very friendly and the venue is stylish but comfortable. This is a great option for this part of the city. I highly recommend a visit.
