Yummm! The food here is great but a little bit expensive.
It's located in the Frank Gehry building in UTS so I think the prices are a bit much for uni students even though I'm sure it's frequented by other people.
Hot chocolate was okay but the food was definitely a hit.
Service wasn't too bad either.
The pancetta and beef burger is absolutely amazing! One of the best ones in Sydney. The crispy pancetta, juicy beef, provolone cheese and the onion relish is just amazing. Not a huge fan of the chunky, soft hand cut fries accompanying it but that's just a personal preference. Coffee is mediocre but you need to try this burger!!
Cafe 80 must have the best Quinoa porridge in Sydney; a delicious blend of fruit and seeds is heightened by a spectacular labne. The coffee is excellent and the cafe is all curves and grace in the fabulous Frank Gehry designed building at UTS. After breakfast walk to the top of the ramp and marvel that we have this charming cafe and great piece of architecture on our doorstep.
This place has the best atmosphere! Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is all freshly cooked, delicious, and the serving size is huge. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Ultimo looking for a good feed.
This recently opened cafe is yet another addition to the growing number around Ultimo, which has been lacking until now. Coffee was okay. Sandwiches were better as were the scrolls. The steak sandwich was good though the side of chips was soggy. I expect this place will improve over time.
Ordered haloumi stack (with poached eggs) and pulled beef burger (with sweet potato chips). Got three in one: big portions, delicious food, reasonable price!

Had a quick bite from here, really good food but the wait time was a bit long.
My partner took me to 80 when we first met and we've been regulars ever since. The service is always impeccable and the food has never disappointed. James knocks up some of the tastiest burgers I've eaten and the girls make a mean coffee. 80 doubles as a great spot for after work beers which run at happy hour pricing ($5) until 8 pm and the tap variety is fantastic. Thank you guys.
We turned up without a booking, the restaurant was crowded and we have just melted on another crazy Sydney Summer day. However, the staff turned what could of been a disaster into a memorable lunch. A good meal is not just about the food but the staff, location and atmosphere. Loved it, hope you do as well. Great food, coffee & drinks! Friendly owners. Great for casual or functions! Had dinner & drinks many times, it's located in the university but doesn't have the young student feel. Very sophisticated but not expensive for the quality. Happy hour daily (from memory).
It’s nice here. Under the Gehry building, in sight of the Goods Line. Outdoor and indoor tables, decent beer on tap, good coffee, solid bar food (calamari and such), friendly staff. Big and small tables, booths along the Windows. Relaxed but competent, low-key and stylish.

Friendly and helpful catering staff and service.
Fantastic atmosphere- the perfect meeting place for a special Friday evening celebration.Guests thought so too.
