Rating 3.5 A little hard to find, tucked away on a side alley of the Rocks. We came for Sat lunch when things were still “normal”. It was not busy at all, but that’s probably more of the location. I got a Syo-gun set, for under $30 you get so much food! Ramen, sashimi, karaage chicken, gyoza and salad. Tasted good, not the most outstanding ramen around, but not bad and definitely worth it for the value.

Great food, great service. The Spicy Garlic Kameya Ramen was delicious, the broth was thick, rich and full of flavor. the FKC was crispy and well seasoned, which was balanced well by the sauce.

one of the best ramen bars in Sydney.

Always have the Kameya ramen - Rich pork and chicken broth, decadent noodles, fantastic texture throughout and everything else is a bonus. Sapporo on tap! (Complimentary beer snack to go with)

Love the setup here. There's indoor and outdoor dining here. House from entrees and mains. Extensive menu with lots of drink options.

Everything was made really well. The miso eggplant is superb. My top picks are the cold ramen with the pork and for dessert get the matcha pannacotta 💕

They don't serve ramen at dinner time just a heads up. The miso glazed eggplant is incredibly tasty and melt in the mouth. The sushi is nice but fairly standard, and the prices here are pretty good for the rocks.

The ramen was different from other places, I was surprised that there was onion in it. I liked the pork broth and quite enjoyed the KFC (Kameya Fried Chicken). Staff were really friendly. Nice interior. I feel that it was a little pricey though (expected due to covid). Spicy garlic ramen, kameya ramen, KFC (Kameya Fried Chicken)

Nice broth. Flavoursome chashu. And the noodle? OMG! So perfect! Normally I’m not a fan of thin noodles, but they paired thin noodles to the seafood ramen, I went with the default choice. It blew me away. The texture is very pleasant and it complements the broth. They even have a numbering system for the ramen noodles (categorised by thickness)! The price is reasonable. Service is nice and quick. 10 out of 10 from me. Will definitely come back. Actually I now find it harder to go back to other Japanese restaurants where they use instant noodles and overly salty broth to muck around!

This hidden Japanese restaurant in the back lanes of The Rocks is dishing up some very tasty ramen. I really like the mixed broth (pork and fish) that added complexity to an already tasty broth. Noodles also come in two thicknesses (No.18 and 22) that varies the texture. I would really like the serving size to increase though!

We came in last weekend for dinner and the are pretty excellent. The staff was helpful and they have a pretty unique menu. I would go back and try the other ramen next time!!

A bit of a hidden spot but definitely worth the trek as it's a cosy little spot. We visited to try the signature ramen and it was delightful. The unique cappuccino style broth was very impressive and the flavor was rich but not overpowering. It was surprising to find raw onion in the ramen and made it feel like fusion food. The onion got a little overpowering towards the end of the meal but nonetheless it was enjoyable. We will be back to try more of the menu 👍

OMG this place is amazing. My Japanese colleague took us here. The dishes are creative but the flavor is very Japan! Back to ramen, the pork bone soup is fresh, tasty but not too rich for summer(i order the ramen with bamboo). The noodle it self is thinner than usual ramen and harder (as i ordered). Anyway I will be back soon. 😃

Was so happy when we found this place. There aren't many reasonably priced Japanese restaurants around Circular Quay and the Rocks. Their ramen is solid. Before covid they used to have a more entensive lunch menu. Hopefully once things return to normal they will bring that back. It's a quaint restaurant hidden in an alleyway. You wouldn't even know you were in the middle of the city. The place is on the small side and great for catch ups with a small group.
