Golden fang. What a bossy name! In Chinese it is actually translates into big pleasure or somethingđ. I gotta admit I would never step in there in a million years given how poor their ambient is.
But the dishes were awesome! The flavors are all there and they actually managed to make them taste lite at the same time. It was more and more delicious the more we eat it. Eggplant pot was slightly different to what I normally have in other places but it was a good difference, lite taste that lasts. The omelette was golden! Tender! And prawns in there were plentiful and big! The hostess gave us a plate of complementary orange which was very sweet! Why? Xihuahua đ¶ has shining personality. Will go back for the black bean sauce fish.

I tried their lunch set menu two year ago but at that time, I wasnât really impressed. But today, I dried their dishes, which are really yummy, totally beyond my expectation!

Itâs a light meal and it goes along well with rice.
Quite plentiful and the lady who looks like a boss serves us a free after meal fruit đ ! How nice of her! And she is really friendly! She was super happy when she saw us finish all the food! (So easy for kitchen to clean?! Lol)
One of the good classic chinese places, great to come here for some old school Chinese when in the area. They do the classic Cantonese dishes.Enjoyed their honey chicken, fried rice and good for big families and groups.
Food were not bad here.And the price is not that high,so many Chinese students from usyd will eat here.I think their signature dish is Oil Source chicken with rice.Maybe this name,can't remember clearly.The chicken was juicy and tender,not too many fat but texture was rich.The other dish was so so.
Close to USYD and price is extremely reasonable. This is my most often visited restaurants when I studied at USYD, loads of memory about it. There was one time that I failed a assignment and I didn't have any appetite to eat. And I just ran into this place and ordered a fried noodle , and that noodle tasted like home :(
Average food, huge portion, cheap price, overall a nice place for a quick meal without too much damage. Their roast duck/pork dishes were alright; but I didn't like the lemon chicken as it was mind boggling sweet, made me wondering if it was meant to be a dessert.
I find it difficult to comprehend how anyone could give this place a bad review. The food is cheap, tasty and comes in generous portions. Highlights are the BBQ pork and lemon chicken. Other dishes I often order are the steamed pork dumplings, garlic spinach, beef omelette and the pan fried pork buns.
Golden Fang is a cheap and cheerful Chinese Malaysian restaurant that serves up huge meals for very little coin. It's situated on an uber-busy, noisy and grimy stretch of City Road and if you didn't know what joy lies within you'd probably pass right by on your way to Broadway Shopping Center. And that would be a mistake.

We hadn't been to Golden Fang for years until one of our readers suggested we try their lemongrass pork chop and cumin lamb. So we did. And went back twice.

I've been eating in this restaurant almost 4 years. That's one of the best restaurant in city. The price are suitable and big portion. never complain about any food. the chef who cooked the food are authentic, experience, tasty. Will never give up to go there and strongly recommended.
Sensational. Well priced. Excellent service. Very tasty. The salty fish and chicken fried rice is truly authentic.
Casual dining atmosphere with competitive pricing. Most of the dish with rice are only 10.5 to 12 dollars. Fast service, food was served generally within 10mins. Really good portion size as well.
We ordered black bean beef, sweet sour pork, mapo tofu, stewed beef with rice and spicy sour potato. The stewed beef is really tender.
I had the chicken and veggie sir fry with Chinese mushrooms. The amazing thing about this restaurant is that they made the takeaway in about 5 minutes. Food was great, price is mid-range and fair for the quality of their ingredients.

A little hole in the wall, but this place is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to in Sydney. Very competitive prices, and some pretty decent food if you are a fan of south Chinese cooking.
I've tried a variety of their dishes and they seem to always have them out within 5 minutes of me ordering it so I have no idea how they do it.

Service was fast, prices are good. Not in line with the best Laksa in Sydney, but perfectly serviceable for the price. Broth was a little thin and watery but there was no shortage of toppings and it was practically overflowing with bbq pork.
