The cocktails were fancy and yum, the dumplings were delicious, the staff were lovely and I’ll be back for the Peking duck pancakes. Great value and a funky, relaxed place to enjoy dinner.
I don't know how good it is when eat in the restaurant, but I did order take away yumcha for this restaurant, it turn out really good

Love this place. We ordered a variety of dumplings and all were fantastic. There was one small fail, where the soup dumplings unfortunately had no soup and were a bit dry.
The rest were brilliant. And made even more enjoyable with a glass of lovely wine.
A must try.
Happy D’s is a very happy place with a long, fake, ironic fishtank, a kick-arse neon sign and a good selection of drinks (wine, beer, sake and cocktails) and dumplings. Hang out at the long counter after entering the humble, non-descript hole-in-the-wall sort of entrance. Eat dumplings to your heart’s content, while drinking and chatting with friends. On a Thursday night, early, it was quiet enough for a good conversation but very obviously a cool place to be. We spent $30 each on dumplings and $40 each on booze!
