Beautiful decor and beautiful food is what Social Hideout is all about! Lots of stunning floral decor makes this place both Instaworthy and a joy to be in. Surprisingly, we quite enjoy the food as well and the signature Taro Hotcakes are every bit delicious as they look, and the Bubblegum milkshake served in a golden bath tub is a lot of laughs and sweet and yummy. It's on the pricey side so this feels like a special occasion or treat-yourself kind of brunch
very creative menu. great use of colors on dishes. their drinks are very fancy looking. the purple salmon was only luke warm when served. and the pull pork mac n.cheese black croissant combo is interesting, jhst gave me carbs overload though haha

Pros: Not your average brunch spot. Asian inspired ingredients in a flower-decorated wonderland, makes for Instagram perfection. Your tastebuds will want to come back for more!
Cons: The food is mouth-wateringly beautiful, it’s a struggle to either eat it or take a photo.

Would highly recommend for atmosphere, Instagram photo worthy, food plating and decor. I tried the lamb ragu and loved it. Also, I tried the bubble gum pancakes and they were average, they just tasted like regular pancakes but with blue bubble gum flavouring/colouring. The red latte and pink grapefruit drink was nice too. Would recommend if your into Insta worthy pictures.

Social hideout has a great interior decor, and a cool hip concept that is the main thing that draws peps to this ‘hideout’. For us food was i say 8/10, where i got the porky macky and cheeseky, and paired with a strawberry milkshake, which for me was the main “highlight”, bringing out the small beast of the kid i was in me. Missus got the bourdon benedict, which was alright, abit cold but good portion. Overall, it was good, recommend for experience, may or june not come back. Xoxo gossip girl
Nice environment, flowers everywhere! I’ve been taken photos with my friends for more than an hour! Food is okay.
The interior is very over the top here with floral decor everywhere. The staff are friendly despite the busy cafe. The seating layout was way too cramped for it to be comfortable though. Everything we got was satisfying - the pannacotta had a strong taro taste but not overly sweet and the salmon was cooked quite well.
This place has the most beautiful decor! Everything about this cafe is stunning and aesthetically pleasing. The food is tasty and especially instagrammable. The service was quick and has really good ambience. I recommend coming earlier, just before the lunch time period, as it does get a bit too busy and lines does form.

The Taro hotcakes were so deliciously made and so well presented. I found the dish to be very satisfying and just the right amount of sweet. The pancakes were thick and light and with the generous serving of black sesame icecream giving a new depth of flavour. The ganache also added to the sweetness for the pancakes but even having the icecream alone would've been enough. Overall, this was a pleasurable dish to eat. I've had friends that had come here before and did not enjoy the savoury dishes but it may have been a one-off thing.

The servers that I had were quite cold and distant. I can understand that since the cafe attracts so many people from the indoor and exterior design that perhaps they don't have to put as much effort in socialising with their customers.

10/10!! I wish I could give more stars because this was a DREAM. I was an awe of how they have put so much into the design of the store. Even the outdoor decorations were a photo-worthy opportunity with a floral bike set up. It astounded me that they even have their decor on the ceilings, and not only that but it was filled with fake flowers as well. It was like stepping into a fairytale castle of your dreams haha. They even had the multi coloured rose section follow to the wall to become a flower wall.

Compared to the service, everything was top notch. I would seriously recommend anyone looking for a brunch outing or even a great photo opportunity to go to this place. Would recommend/10, you will not be disappointed.
I have visited both of Social Hideout's Parramatta and Waterloo locations and can confirm that they are both very aesthetic with beautiful floral interiors and very pretty dishes. This Waterloo cafe is certainly much larger and more suitable for group outings and celebrations. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Their menus differ from the two locations and they also offer seasonal specials too! Definitely one of the most instagrammable cafes in Sydney! However, I must say, this cafe's selling point is certainly its aesthetic look and their food is nothing too extraordinary. Also, I much prefer their waterloo location over their Parramatta one as it was less congested and had many more neon signs and comfortable seating.

Lively decoration, great Atmosphere with relaxing music. Super friendly staff, They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
I did not go with my dog this time but I have noticed it is a pet friendly cafe, We will definitely go with our dogs next time very soon.
Highly recommend and can not wait to brunch there again.
Great food. Good coffee. Not so much about the plastic flowers all over the walls and ceiling. They are even on the outside of the building. Might look pretty, but it is still "plastic" trying to be something else. The Service team was great!
One of the best instagrammable coffee shop in Sydney! The atmosphere is magical. The food it's a joy for the eyes. You cannot be unhappy in this place. The food is delicious and the bathtub drink is a must try (got the red velvet). Lovely customer service. Definitely coming back for lunch.
We got the ferro french toast which was so pretty and so delicious. Also got the Audrey Butterfly Wisteria drink and OMG so delicious and such a pretty, unique drink. Staff are friendly and the cafe is so aesthetic. Want to go back to try other dishes! Highly recommend!!! Great place to go with friends or family
Pretty decent brunch spot. Very well done interiors for all the instagrammers. Food is excellently plated but taste wise not as notable. Similar experience with special drinks for the friends that ordered. You will have trouble finishing some of their menu items as they are LARGE portions, so order carefully!

Todays brunch decided to goto social hideout Waterloo. The decor here is stunning, absolutely beautiful! 5 stars for decor!
For drinks we got Audrey’s butterfly flower wisteria which was beautiful not to sweet and just the right amount of flavour a must try!
Yellow fever which was nice but very strong on the mint!
Two bathtubs one red velvet, one iced chocolate. The red velvet was nice but mostly bland just tasted like watery milk with a little red velvet. The iced chocolate was lovely tasked beautiful and enough chocolate flavour. The decor for the bathtubs were beautiful, with fairy flood, sprinkles and whipped cream, was beautiful.
For food we chose the social breakfast, pull my pork, taro hot cakes
Social breakfast was lovely just the right amount of everything on the plate. The pull my pork was a let down. All you could taste was like a tomato flavour which was weird as no tomato in it, it was spicy and not good at all. The taro hotcakes were beautiful cooked perfectly perfect amount of flavour and very beautifully presented! A must try!
• The location is absolutely easy to find as it's really open and outstanding from the outside.
• It's not really spacious inside, lots of tables for 2 and a long table for a group. There are seats outside too.
• Their decoration is lovely. Same as the vibe.
• The service is efficient.
• Food tastes good enough to enjoy. Their appearances are absolutely tempting. Personally, I found it quite filling.
• Price is a bit over but there're reasons for it.
