I love the feel of this restaurant and the detail of the fitout as you walk in. It’s a great concept being able to pick 3 different time of soup flavours for your hot pot. The food here was delicious, but I think it’s really suited for up to 4 guests as each table is quite tight. We staff were very helpful in translating the specials in Chinese into English for me. It is quite a pricey restaurant, Almost $100 per head without alcohol.

Great dragon serve very good hotpot. Came in on Sunday dinner time and we queue for one hour. Food came quickly, very fresh. 这家火锅超好吃... 好爱他们家的虾滑和羊肉...

Absolutely loved the food here, very traditional style interior design.

I've found the broth of the hot pot to be very similar to those in Chongqing, China which is fantastic.
Can't fault this place, fresh food, wide variety and unique dishes.

Only downside is that its on the pricier side - but wouldn't mind paying for something close to authentic.

Wait for long and finally, they are on listed on Zomato.

Ambiance 4/5
Well, its whole decoration is exactly the same as its chain restaurants in Sichuan, China. Remind me of my hometown.

Price 3/5
(See too many people complain about their pricing, but..)If you compare the price here with that of in Sichuan, that making no sense. They are a brand new restaurant and they spent a fortune on decorations, materials, staff, training, etc...And it is Sydney, the price is supposed to be higher... Hopefully, they can give a discount in the future when their revenue covers their initial investment.

Food 4.5/5
Being a 'SIchuaner', I might have the right to judge whether it hot pot is authentic or not. Actually, it is quite authentic and follows the soul of Sichuan hot pot. But... I do think they over-decorate the dishes which might the reason why it is costly.

A fabulous hot pot restaurant specialising the perfect Sichuan chili kick 🌶🌶🌶 This place will be be piping hot this winter. A very very popular joint, the wait-time for a table is approx 1.5hrs+😱

The food here is amazing! The quality of the dishes were quite good and definitely worth the price. I’d recommend the barbie meat, although its expensive the meat is very tender and the marbling is very nice! Another plus was the size of the pot and how you can choose to get three flavours (stock, tomato and spicy) which really gives you a variety to try.

There is a good variety of condiments to choose from when making your sauce. If you are unsure of what to choose, I’d suggest peanut sauce, garlic, sesame oil (and chilli sauce if you like a kick)! There are many different dishes to choose from, however the prices are not very cheap, but as I said before, it is worth it.

One downside is that there is definitely a language barrier. If you don’t speak Mandarin it will be slightly harder to communicate with staff, and the menu has rough english translations which don’t really explain what each dish is.

Another issue is the popularity of the restaurant! Since it is a very good restaurant you will always have to wait at least 1/2hr to get a seat. For me, I waited almost an hour and I arrived there at 5:30pm! However they did say that if you go there at 5 then you won’t have to wait in line.

Always go to this place whenever I want to have Chinese hotpot. You can literally smell the aroma of the broth from the entrance and their dipping sauces are really tasty with fresh ingredients. The wagyu meat combo is definitely a good pick and also they have many different types of noodles, veggies dishes which help to balance your appetite.

Great Hotpot Restaurant here in Haymarket! The soup bases were all delicious and there are many kinds of meat and vegetables to choose. Prices were quite average for hotpot restaurant and there were discount 22% too for cash payments after 8.45pm. Overall great restaurant with grrat service with reasonable prices.

After my favourite Korean BBQ restaurant wouldn't let us in we decided to try hotpot. This place is incredible! The staff are so lovely and the service was super quick! We tried the spicy/tomato/mushroom soup which was red hot but really tasty. The sauce bar had probably 25 to choose from and you could get whatever you liked. Cannot wait to go back 🥰

A great place to try traditional Chinese hotpot. Make sure you have enough time (2-3 hours) and have enough money. Because it's a costly place.
