Not sure why the Zomato ratings are so low for Two Tales. My friend and I found this place on Groupon but I'd be happy to pay full price based on our experience. The shakshuka was delicious and the sourdough was the perfect vehicle to mop up the tomato and capsicum sauce. My only gripe was that the eggs could've been runnier. I also snuck a bite of my friend's lamb salad which was equally tasty. Generous pieces of lamb with plenty of flavour from herbs. Not a fan of the turmeric latte though, it was really weak and tasted mostly like milk. However service was friendly and warm. It's also a dog friendly cafe for your four-legged babies.
Great place to eat brunch, I definitely will be back. The coffee was awesome and the food also great.
I really enjoy sitting in the terrace drink my coffee and enjoy the view of the park.
We bought the deal through groupon and were very suprised with this cozy place. The portions were big,yummy and cold brew refreshing. Staff was very nice. We will definitely come back for such a great Sunday brunch:)
Very nice service and environment to have brunch here!! Reasonable price of all meals and coffee. Also I saw the little playground for children in the corner of the cafe’ , parents could bring their kids to come to enjoy their nice weekend❤️
Nice little cafe in great setting overlooking a park. My salmon toast with poached eggs was hearty and tasty. Good coffee and very friendly staff. Visiting from Melbourne and will be back next visit
The best part about two tales is the awesome kid play area. The kids menu is extensive & cheap which is fantastic. Coffee is scrumptious. The only real part I didn't like is the kids hotcakes coming with a side of currants. I'm guessing mixed berries were used but it was very tart so my child refused to eat it. I had the quinoa green bowl which was nice. Cheeseburger on the brunch menu was very much appreciated by husband. Friend had house made hash brown with maple bacon - absolutely delicious. Will be back again.
Excellent food and service, superb coffee, animals and children are welcomed, toilet with nappy changing facilities, across the road from the park, parking available in the streets surrounding the cafe and park.
I enjoy visiting every morning on my way to work, the owner Andres always has a friendly greeting for me and their many other loyal customers, as do the rest of his lovely team. The coffee is great, but I have to in particular recommend the eggs benedict - as one obsessed with this meal who tries it at every cafe I visit that serves it, trust me when I say they do a wonderful job of the dish! Highly recommend for the food, the coffee, and the atmosphere.
The food and coffees are is so great here. I usually go for a bacon and avo toast because it's so delicious 😄, soup or specials are awesome as well. Coffee is the best in the area and now I can't take coffees in other places haha. Staff are very friendly and the view to Alexandria Park is incredibly
Good coffee and beautiful location. There's a small corner for kids with toys and books, which would be greatly appreciated if you have young children
Luscious, yummy French Toast with citrus poached pear and pannacotta. Kid and puppy friendly!

Hook into the absolutely GIGANTIC bacon and egg burger (get halloumi on it as well, why not?). This place has got me through many a Sunday hangover with their juicy onion and perfectly on the mark coffee. I approve. Stars awarded for delicious food and proximity to park and home. This is a banger of a business.
