The best cheese and wine place with rich French culture in art, interior, decoration and food. For a non-French person like me I felt like I had a tour to France and for a French guy like my bf he said it heals his homesick.🙂 The chef and boss Christian is super friendly and warm. We feel like we were just guests at a friend’s place. Covid made a lot of small businesses struggle including this one. I feel lucky Sydney still has this special little food place which is full of culture. Definitely try it if you’re interested!!!

We had the absolute pleasure of attending one of the French cheese and wine nights on the 4th May 2022. This evening was INCREDIBLE, I have not stopped thinking about it and have told every person I know about it. Christian's knowledge and passion for French wine and cheese shines through the evening and he takes you on a journey through France. The cheese and wine quality is exquisite and I truly believe that this experience is worth the cost. This is the best wine and cheese experience in Sydney by far, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. We can't wait to come back one day!

What an authentic French experience ! Christian is so attentive and passionate about his French cheese/food and French wines. His restaurant is truly an escape to France. The decor with it's sense of the Louvre and bestowed with family heirlooms leaves you in awe. wine is paired with food with Christian's knowledgeable recommendations. Absolutely a must visit!

Our family spent a wonderful evening at Le Petit Louvre. This quaint and ambient little cheese shop provides an experience like no other. As we walked in, all of our senses were greeted and it's as if we stepped back in time to the French regency period. Intricately decorated ceilings, soft classical music, gorgeous paintings, and of course Christian who was the highlight of the evening. Christian's passion for food, wine, art and culture is what drew us to come and dine at his restaurant in the first place. After spending 9 years in Switzerland, our palettes were craving the tastes and smells of somewhere we used to call home. His decadent cheese fondue brought us back to how we used to spend the evenings by the fire after a day of skiing. We were absolutely spoiled by Christian's one-on-one hospitality, as he took the time to explain and demonstrate each aspect of the meal. The wine complimented each course perfectly, and we can't stop thinking about that delicious Tarte Tatin!! Such a memorable experience for us all, and we can't wait to visit again very soon.

The absolute pinnacle of wine and cheese tasting. I have no idea how this place hasn’t exploded in popularity yet - the quality and rarity of both the wines and cheese in Australia is unrivalled. Couldn’t recommend attending the pairings evening highly enough.

Very good experience. The place has an avant garde ambiance. Huge respect for the chef that will care for all your needs and is doing it by himself, he will explain everything from the painting to the food, where the wines are from and how the cheeses are made, absolutely wonderful ! As for the food : absolutely delicious ! We had a camembert rĂ´tis : I haven't had one like that since I left France, delicious a fondue savoyarde : same feeling The wines and ciders are unique and you definitely won't find those anywhere else. For the French that misses cheeses and good wine, this is the place for you ! For anyone else, if you have to try a French restaurant, this hidden gem is definitely the place to go ! Thank you again for such a delicious dinner !

This was one of the best experience in Sydney. The cheeses are just amazing. The restaurant it’s just like you feel you are in Paris at Le Louvre. The wine was excellent, and the service as well. Thanks we will come back again.
