Absolutely delicious food and really well priced with large portions! Highly recommend the sizzling sisig. Have been here a few times now and can’t wait to come back again!

Descanso Cafe mixes up standard cafe fare with a selection of classic Filipino meals, all the silogs, sisig and adobos you could want. You can get a classic burger, steak or a latte at Descanso, but the thing we are here to try are their Filipino meals. There's a scattering of Pinoy eateries in the inner west, so having one close to us in Glebe is great.

They specialised in Filo food with traditional flavours. Well worth a visit and try their food.

First time trying Filipino food. Was surprised just how much flavour was packed into these Filipino rice bowls. A must try! The sweet Corn Fritters were amazing too. Great little eatery
A must visit place to taste the authentic Filipino cuisine. Do try the Chicken-Pork Adobo Chicken and Sisig. Finally ended the meal with the New York Cheesecake, one of the best cheesecakes in Sydney!!
Had the pulled pork sandwich! It was amazing and apparently braised all night ! Recommend this place to anyone who wants quality coffee and good sandwiches! :)
A nice cosy cafe away from the busier end of Glebe Point Rd. A good place to be for a group of people who have particular demands of food - western breakfast or cafe style food and more Asian style (namely Filipino) food. Such was the group I was with when we tried this place. Everyone came out happy. The sisig was good and I like the spicy-ness of the bicol express. Although I've had better adobo (home-made, though).

Always love finding a Filipino restaurant! The menu items definitely reminds me of home. Haven't been disappointed with any Filipino menu item I've ordered. They also sell dishes in bulk as a frozen/cold pack to take home.
Who says rice for breakfast is a no no??? Filipino craving's satisfied after a loooonnng night shift and the coffee here is great! Keeps me awake to drive home.

I'm giving 4 star coz my friend got there at 12 and their food came 1 hour later on a Sunday. They were the only ones in restaurant at the time. So it was a bit odd that our food came quick or say within 20 mins.

We ordered the tapsilog + long and spicy sisig. Both are very delicious! The owners are really friendly and nailed their food recommendations. I would definitely recommend people to come here and try their filipino foods.
The food here is amazing. The service is fantastic, and the coffee is honestly some of the best quality that I have ever had in Sydney!
I wish the dishes were a tiny bit larger, just to be able to indulge in the food a little more! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
My family and I love Descanso. The coffee and eggs benedict are fab, and so are the staff. The owner also made a beautiful birthday cake for my nephew's first birthday, and it was so tasty and beautifully decorated. I don't do Google reviews, but I had to come on here and say thank you! You guys are the best!
