As someone who can't cook, I frequently 'cook' by ordering Madam Char Char and hiding all the evidence before my dinner guests arrive. Look for fabulous roast chicken, friendly service, and a smorgasboard of healthy salads to choose from. My personal favourite - the family pack - sporting a whole roast chicken, large fries or potatoes, & a large salad of your choice for $35.90. You can thank me later!
One of the few places I know will be amazing, all of the time. For a chicken shop, they really nail the basics -- their chicken is beautiful - spice-rubbed and stuffed with love. But their real winner is the glorious, tasty and colourful selection of salads. Mesmerising and incredibly hard to pick just one, I really recommend getting the 1/4 chicken and three salads thing, as even though its pricey (something along the lines of $16 which is a bit more than your average chicken show), is both large and delicious and healthy.
The staff are always friendly, and whilst the eat in options are pretty pokey, the food is good enough that I don't really care about that.
The burgers are a little too big for me and I think I've always ordered the wrong one, but make sure you get some salad instead of or with your chips because you dont want to leave without eating what they do best.
Healthy, inexpensive, and tasty! Staff are always helpful and nice, this is a really good place for regular work lunches!
