Cheap and really filling! We got the laksa and the nasi goreng and both were nicely sized portions and came out quickly. It's nice to have some cheaper Malaysian options around Chatswood, and I would definitely commend coming here.

My husband and I ordered the mee goreng and hainanese chicken rice. Both dishes were flavoursome and the portion was decent! Would definitely come back again.

Got invited to the soft opening of this place and I have to say that I am totally obsessed!
Whenever I see a Ya Malaysia I need to eat there because the food is SoOoo good!!!
This place has made me a Malaysian food fan.
The workers are really nice and so is the owner who is super down to earth.
Wait time for food wasn't too bad and the food is hot and fresh.
The place has limited seating so you need to get in early so you're not left waiting.
Located in the food court so is easy to get to.
Definitely one to visit.

Very affordable place for some good Malaysian eats. The ayam goreng was great - the chicken wasn’t dry and had super crispy skin. I loved the tofu with preserved radish on top as well. I was surprised at how big and at the amount of ingredients in the bak kut teh - would recommend.

Overall is quite a causal place to have dindin or lunch with your bf/gf or friends.

I love their Malaysia fried rice! Yummy! Rice is separated in grains and looks glorious! Fried eggplant 🍆 taste nice but too oily for me.

Guorium🧪 highly recommended this dinner.

A quick dinner with certain lv13 connoisseur (Xihuahua 🐶 ) after work. I have been here before many times but never entered the food court above. So many restos here! Tgis Malaysia n restaurant was fast and delicious.

Sambal eggplant. Tender and crispy! Just do not eat the oil pool below. Onion is too spicy.

Malaysian fried ride very quite nice. Very filling. The salt was not mixed well though. The spent 25 on two dishes. The value was great! Google pay made it easy😂

Nice Malaysian restaurant. Dining area is spacious. The food came out quite quick. We got the char kway teow and it was served with a good portion size. The noodles were savoury and had good wok hei flavour. The hainanese chicken rice was ok as the chicken and the rice lacked a bit of flavour and the dish did not come with dark soy sauce.

This place was yummy, strange to pay and order at the counter but it’s probably more of a food court than a restaurant

I really can't fault the chicken laksa at Ya Malaysia. I'm not someone who really goes for Laksa, but I was swayed! Great flavours. Perfect winter warmer!

There are 3 Ya-Malaysia restaurants in Sydney. This particular restaurant is located at the Chatswood Interchange. I usually park at Chatswood Westfield or the council carpark across from the Mandarin Centre. For authentic Malaysian cuisine at affordable prices, this is the place to go in Chatswood. The decor is basic but the food is excellent. Try their Signature Curry Fish it's absolutely delicious and it's a big serving that's enough for 4 people. Ya-Malaysia reminds me of the food courts in Malaysia, where the lack of ambience is replaced with efficient service and great traditional food.
