Whether it's to celebrate someone's special time or trying to convince people to try an Asian cake, look no further. As it's not overly sweet and has a good ratio of cream and sponge, mums and kids can definitely enjoy this treat.
There's Taro, Lychee and Strawberry flavours so there's lots to try! Most likely available at the store for last minute cake 😋
Amazing taro cake! My family loved it. So soft and creamy, and not too sweet. I love the little soft chunks of taro in the cream in the centre. Definitely one of my favourite cakes.
The appearance of this cake is quite normal but the taste is really nice and incredible. It's one of the best cake in my life cause the taste is not sweet, the cake is soft and importantly, the price is inexpensive for a cake birthday
A cake shop that has a hint of western cakes & a hint of Asian, the style is a bit Japanese & a bit Taiwanese, resulting in super light sponge/swiss rolls, crispy flakey pastries wrapped around sweet fillings and egg rolls & cookies. The swiss rolls are nice & light and not overly sweet as are the flakey pastry bites which was super flakey. Some of the items like egg roll & the mini crisps/cookies are a bit too eggy tasting for my liking but are nice also. The birthday cakes all look good & sounds delicious.
The most fluffy and creamy cakes in sydney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You guys are definitely incredible!!!!!! I can not live without bakery! And I just addicted to your ones!!! love you forever!!!
Cute little bakery that displays the most adorable and tasty Asian inspired baked goods!! The atmosphere is very cosy and the cakes were quite affordable compared to other cake stores. I bought the taro cake and the cheesecake and some other red bean bread thing and they all tasted seriously GOOD!! Service is AMAZING here, the workers don't hover but are helpful and friendly at the same time. The free piping of pink icing on my cheesecake was a nice touch ^____^ The cute asian lady is so friendly and made me want to visit again!!
Tried this Lychee cake with coconut jelly topping recently for a birthday. It is layered with fresh cream on the inside, the sponge was soft and fluffy. Quite yummy!
Nice Chinese style bakery deep within the Chinatown area at Prince Centre, the focus is mostly on sweet confectionaries rather than the savoury. The specialty is definitely the taro cake (not to be confused with the Taro roll) however they only sell it as a whole and not in slices.
Love the taro and yogurt cake. nice and clean Japanese cake shop, brought back my memory in Japan. My favorite was passion fruit yogurt cake but they stopped selling it a while ago. Taro cake also delicious, used to ate half of it by myself for the 6-inch one :P
My favorite place for Chinese cake. The taro cake is the best. Reasonable price, sponge cake base, full of flavor, never been too sweat not too oilly. Like it.
Savoy Bakery does well portioned fresh tasting breads and bakery in a very clean environment.
Located in The Prince Centre near Paddy’s Market, the Pineapple cakes are perfect with tea or coffee! A Great way to bring friends or family fresh bakery when visiting.

The most delicious cakes for the greatest value! Loved the girls that worked there as well, very helpful in assisting my choose the cake. Bought the cake on the day without pre-ordering, also gave me the option to pick up the cake later, before they closed. The cake is nice, fresh and delicious, loved this fruit cake, also tried many other sweets from their store! Their taro cake is my favourite, as I love taro and they make it so nice. Not too sweet and very light. Will definitely go back, and highly recommend.

The cake tastes good and it is quite like Chinese traditional cake. The taro inside the cake impressed me so much.
I bought a beautiful Taro cake for my husband's birthday today. It's his favourite and he loved it. Thank you! Tasty, moist and money well spent.
